To say moving a weight slowly and controlled is
better is just silly. It may be better if you want big legs w/ no real applicable strength, but if you are looking for athletic performance or true strength then speed is king. Dynamic pulls and presses are BY FAR superior to bench pressing w/ your legs in the air to 'isolate the chest" or doing slow controloled reps to insure a 6sec TUT and the maximun blood volume....lol
