to eat or not?

just a quick question

i have basketball training (so tons of cardio and no lifting) that takes me from 9-12pm on sunday and thursdays

when should i eat...i don't want to lose muscle and i don't want to GAIN weight

is it ok to eat?

and what should i eat cause im hungry as fuck when i get home, but also tired i shower and sleep

Of course you should eat, I recommend before and after...

Before practise, high protein/mod. carbs/low fat...after, same as before, just replace to make it mod. protein/mod. carbs/ low fat, meaning even out the carb/protein ratios for post traning

Hmm

When I played college football, I would always have oats and some OJ about 1 1/2 hours before pracitse, with some whey. Then after I would have a steak, baked potato, or something on that lines, energy before and carbs after to reload glycogen.
 
yah, i was just worried about gaining lots of fat by eating right before i go to sleep, and hoping to curb this by eatin right

im gonna go with mr. x's suggestions
