For days the bodybuilding rumor mill has buzzed with word of Craig Titus and wife Kelly Ryan being involved –- or not involved -- in a Las Vegas homicide.

FLEX just received the following press release from the Las Vegas Police Department. We’ll continue to update as developments occur.

LAS VEGAS METROPOLITAN POLICE DEPARTMENT

On December 14, 2005 at approximately 4:40 a.m., a trucker was traveling on State Route 160 ( Blue Diamond Rd) from Pahrump toward Las Vegas, when he spotted a fire in the desert about a half-mile from the road. When firefighters extinguished the blaze, they observed what appeared to be human remains in the trunk of the car.

The remains were confirmed to be that of a human, and under the circumstances, it is being investigated as a homicide.

***UPDATE***

Investigation into above incident has resulted in arrest warrants being issued for three suspects.

1. Titus, Craig Michael, DOB: 01/14/1965, 5ft 8 inches, 225 lbs., brown hair with hazel eyes. Hair is very short.

2. Ryan, Kelly Ann, DOB: 07/10/1972, 5ft 3 inches, 120 lbs., brown hair with green eyes.

Titus has a no-bail arrest warrant charging him with murder and third degree arson.

Ryan has a no-bail arrest warrant charging her with accessory to murder and third degree arson.

A third suspect has been identified as 23 year old Anthony Gross. Gross is in custody and has been booked into the Clark County Detention Center on charges of accessory to murder and third degree arson.

Craig Titus and Kelly Ryan are husband and wife and were living in the southwest area of Las Vegas. Both are successful body builders and hold numerous titles in the body building and fitness industry.

At this time it is unclear where the two suspects may have fled.

Just that the vic (female) was living/staying with Titus & his wife. Didn't he spend some time 'inside' a few years ago? I think it was related to AAS if I remember correctly.

i would think with the arrest warrants just being issued details such as victim and relationship wont come out till after they have been brought in....which im sure wont be long
 
This is an obvious case of roid rage. Two bb killing their live in roomy. What more do the cops need to know.
 
My source told me the girl ate the last chicken breast that was in the fridge when craig was on EQ..thats why he went crazy and torched her...lol
 
this is a juicy story. surprised it hasnt been picked up by the mainstream media yet. maybe it is only a matter of time.

craig is a fairly well know guy. and handsome. and a jacked roided out BB. this could be a big story.

anyone that took me serious i have to laugh at. yes its bad someone is dead ok. people die everyday. its not everyday that a pro bodybuilder gets charged for murder with his pro wife in it too! sorry

Actually I think it was a large quantity of MDMA aka Ecstacy. Personally I think Titus was a dumbass for being so obvious about his post incarceration, juiced up return to the sport. He openly admitted juicing on national tv-which you think would've been a parole violation.
 
I don't know if they still do it but Graig and Kelly to charge people for training, that come and live with them for a little while. You wonder if the victom was one of thier clients.
 
It seemed that Titus finally had his image under control after going to prison for ecstacy awhile back. Then he had the fight in the gym, then all the shit talking in the media's magazines...Something just doesn't add up for this couple..I guess this means no more post Olympia parties if convicted...

Um. Errr...I think there was just a little more than "personal training" going on behind closed doors with those paying clients. <wink-wink> Which shouldn't be much of a surprise to those who know the darker side of pro bodybuilding. Without going OT, Let's just say that torching the body was likely to eliminate both Craig's and Kelly's DNA evidence from the victim. My guess is that this whole thing is the result of a bad combo of kinky sex, recreational drugs, and $$$.

If I were them I'd have skipped town to Mexico while finding a way to pool as much $$$ from richy-rich clients as possible. Once they have a decent chunk of $$$, they need to hire a high profile attorney and turn themselves in. There is no statuate of limitations on murder-so they'll never be able to set foot on American Soil again until this is resolved.

Who knows? Just because they bolted doesn't automatically mean that they are guilty. They may have even been set up??? Regardless, even though it makes them both look guilty as shit, they're better off running just to buy themselves some time to hire an attorney. If they allowed themselves to be arrested here, they wouldn't have any way to come up with funds for legal council.

Titus did a decent amount of time in the joint. With little to do in prison besides socialize with other criminals, I'm sure he had endless conversations with other inmates on how to beat a murder charge. They're a method behind the madness here-whether it will work or not for these two remains to be seen. Pass the popcorn.

I have a feeling that the real experts on how to successfully beat a murder charge are not incarcerated. If you know what I mean.
 
I read in the Las Vegas Review Journal that the chick that they allegidly murdered was their live in personal assistant who was 28 and that she had embezzelled a large amount of their money and ran their credit cards up. It just does not seem right that they would kill her then put her body inside one of their own Jaguars and set the car on fire on a road that is used all of the time. The police had interviewed then last week and let them go because of lack of evidence and arrested a 23 year old guy who they said was an accomplish to murder.

From what i read the girl was staying with them. She impersonated Kelly and took out a huge loan and he snapped and strangled her to death. They dumped the body in Kellys Jag and paid a dude $300 to torch the car. The dude apparently had no knowledge of the body but when he heard about it he turned himself in and told what he knew......From what im hearing they were swingers and lived a party life style.....btw Kelly was starting to abuse hgh or something cus she was looking beat.......and ya know, i didnt shed a tear over 100,000 dead in that tsunami so i really dont care about this either. ......Just another example of another fucked up bodybuilder and anybody who wants to live that life style seriously needs to re examine themselves.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were at their attorny's house going over every single detail before they turned themselves in.

Well, I imagine there's no fail safe way to get the job done, but keep in mind inmates are incarcerated for the crime that they got caught for-but not the ones that they got away with. Look at Scott Petersen. His wife Lacey was the 2nd girl he dated that disappeared. It worked the 1st time-but not the 2nd.

Thats a good point. I would still take any legal advice I got in prison with a grain of salt though.

since we are such a shallow group, wonder what craig will look like in a year after two after being juice free (in prison). not the craig we have grown to love. :o
 
Here is my theory - Kelly finds out about the affair, and kills this woman. Then she comes to her senses and asks Craig to come up with an idea to get rid of the body. Craig, being loyal and a simple man, comes up with a hum dinger. He decides to set fire to her in his own car. When they are found out, they flee to Massachusetts. Craig, deciding he blends in well enough with the everyday crowd in the Star Market, risks a trip inside for some turkey breast and a Diet Snapple. He sticks out like the sorest thumb you have ever seen, and the rest is history. Kelly is getting her fucking nails done in the meantime. This will make a pretty good tv movie.

My friend juiced the whole time while spending 2 years in Club Fed. Then again, I doubt Titus will be going to Club Fed this time.
 
I met Craig many years ago in a club in Louisiana and we didn't see eye to eye and almost went to blows! I always thought he was an asshole! I had really thought that Kelley had maybe changed his life! Wrong!!

Weekly conjugal visits and a very cooperative wife. He got time for boosting semi trucks full of electronics equipment so he wasn't drug tested or watched closely for drugs at all. I guess he didn't even have barbed wire fences where he was. I've heard some fed facilities don't even have fences-just a line painted on the ground that you aren't allowed to cross? Titus's original time was done in a fed facility-he's in for a big surprise when he gets sent to the max.
 
Arrested while having her nails done. LOL....I can just hear all the other stupid ass fitness chics saying how nice and great she was. OMG that just said it all about her.
 
they dont sound like very smart criminals, leaving a TRAIL of clues. credit card reciepts from Wal Mart for charcoal lighting fluid! talk about stupid!

surprised they didnt have Murder for Dummies lying around house. :o
 
I knew Titus was a damn idiot but I really didn't thing he would do something so sick and stupid! I hope somebody beats the crap out of him in prison! K. Ryan is just such a dissapointment!

seriously, i saw Inside Edition where they showed interview with kelly winning some women's fitness contest from a few years back. she was all humble while telling the interviewer how she overcame anorexia and turned her life around.
 
So much for my theory about Titus possibly learning from other inmates on how to deal with this situation. When he was in prison he was probably too busy talking about himself to listen to what anyone else had to say. Anyone that's watched a few CSI episodes would've had a better shot at getting away with it than these morons.
