Tito vs Shamrock

Yeah Tito in the first unless Ken has worked on defending against Tito's takedown. But if Tito takes him down it's lights out Ken.....

I really hope Ken gets his arse kicked. How many times does Tito have to beat him before he gets a decent fight? Tito has nothing to gain from this fight and alot to lose imo. If he loses where will he go from there. Stupid fight.

IMO Tito has alot of unanswered buisness with Forrest. That is one fight i bet he is avoiding. There are alot of guys Tito has to beat before he can even think about fighting lidell or moving forward but tonights fight i agree is not one of them.

If and when he wins he has to fight:
Forrest
Babalu

These imo would be his toughest fights ever

he'd dominate Forrest throughout three rounds if he dosn't hurt his knee in the first like he did the last fight
but tito babalu I'd love to see

side note, did I hear right that thier fight was opening the evenings matches?

I doubt Tito would dominate any rounds. I'm not a Tito hater. I just think he's way too overrated. And he has a weak jaw...

he's entertaining to watch and is talented but would get rocked by chuck. they better hold off on that match before they make their money making fighter look like shit

well Tito did Dominate the first round with Forrest
so I can't see how you would doubt he'd do it again

Because that was the only round he dominated and it was by takedowns. After the first he no longer could take Forrest down. With that being said another fight would be like a 4th round with Tito scratching his head in disbelief... All Tito has are takedowns an elbows. If you watch that fight from beginning to end you'll see if it was a title fight (meaning 5 rounds) Tito would have been finished. Also take a look at Tito's fight history and you'll notice Forrest was his longest fight in years going the distance.

yah, and if you do a bit of reading you can figure out that logically that was becuase his knee was hurt
otherwise how would you have takeing Forrest down AT WILL reduced to barely able to get Forrest down AT ALL between the first and second round?

tito is in no way ready for chuck....he needs at least two fights against "real" LW contenders. Fighting Forrest again.....albeit it might end up being a tough fight.....does not ready him for Liddell....."AT ALL"....imo

we'll see what his excuse is when chuck kicks his ass.

oh make no mistake
he aint ready for Chuck and when Chuck pounds him (which I assume will happen) then he very well may have an eyepoke excuse or something ready
but he was dominant over Forrest and Forrest is nothing special compared to Chuck

I also agree that a lackluster decission over Forrest and a pair of wins over Shamrock do not make you a LHW contender
maybe in Shamrocks day but not today
on the other hand who will you match Tito up with to get that title shot?
I for one would LOVE to see Babalu vs Tito, but Babalu got the last shot at Chucks belt so it's hardly fair to put up a shot at the LHW Title for the two to fight over, but it'd be a good match just in general

There's alot of fighters.. But after seeing rich franklin getting tossed around like a rag doll there are alot of no names who can open up all classes so i make no more predictions.

do you mean to say Anderson Silva is a no name?
or did I missunderstand

I'd call him a no name as far as the UFC is concerned. He has 4 pride fights which i seem always to catch late (lack of marketing in us) and i do notice the guy has fought Jeremey Horn and won. That guys head is made of steel. So it looks like Silva may have found a home for a minute... Not taking anything away from the guy.. His career at 185 looks ok thus far.
