I mentioned this in a nother thread but i think this could be a good topic to dicuss or rather just to vent on :D

I am so tired of having to explain my eating habits every time i open/get out my tupperware in a new enviroment. You always get this stupid question about yug wtf are you eating man it smels. Bah ignorant people.

And then when you explain you get these raised eyebrows. Like man your crazy.

And im no big mofo, if i was mayb people would look differently. They would be like ok its working for him mayb i should try it too. I'm jut nog big enough for people too see me as big when i have my shirt on.

bro i hear ya... when i wasn't dieting i was eating rice, beans, steaks or chicken breasts (i'm cuban so i'd be eating typical meals) now that i'm dieting i'll have a chicken breast or steak w/ mayonaise or some fat in there and they all think i'm crazy... everyone that eats lunch w/ me is always like... "Hey where's the rice and beans?" or "How the hell can you eat that" etc. It don't bother me... in fact I take that as a compliment b/c that just shows me how dedicated I am at this.
My only problem w/ this dieting crap is i think i'm losing too much weight and i know it's not all fat. My muscles are decreasing in size... it makes me want to have 2 cheat days instead of 1 to help preserve more muscle.
well anyways bro... good luck... and think about what i said... just think about it as dedication... something these other guys have nothing of. ;)
 
I'm in your exact shoes. I don't have the body yet, and people don't realize that you have to eat the way we do to eventually GET that physique, not just eat like a bodybuilder only when you look like one.

And why we're on the subject, why does everyone make such an effort to cram crap down your throat? They offer you a cookie, you say "no, thanks," then they keep pestering you like something is wrong with you.

I could go on and on...it makes socializing with people difficult. Maybe I just need to hang out only with bodybuilders.
 
Try going out to a night club with your friends and not drinking, talk about peer pressure. However, I can usually get by after drinking a beer and then ordering a diet coke and telling them it's rum and coke.:D
 
I got that yesterday. My friend wanted to go up to Champaigne to visit his girlfriend and he wanted me to come with him to meet her friends. I was like "Sure, I suppose I could do that." And then he said that he wanted to leave at 6:30 and I was like "Oh, sorry, I can't go. I've got to bake some chicken at that time." And he said "What you have scheculed times that you eat?" and I told him "Of course! Do you think that I look like this by accident?" People just really don't get it. As much as I love to talk about bodybuilding I don't like to with normal people because they just don't get it. They think that you walk into a gym, throw around some weights and walk out looking like Ronnie Coleman. As if weights are the only part of the equation.

The drinking isnt as bad as the eating i think it is more or less socially excepted to be a non drinker and smoker.

But i'm used to the cooky crap man that sucks man. Theyll be like what man your so big that one cookie wont hurt you. Pff first thing i'm small man, and i dint get like this by eating that crap.

But grizzly man coming along with a friend to meet some friends of his gf's which would 90% likely would have been some nice chicklets too? Hmm i would have just made some chicken earlier thrown it in a container and eaten it in the car on the drive over.

But that brings up another point. You can always get a meal in right before going some were or before a date. But then there's the prob of getting another meal in 3 hours later. Sure a woman i would be interested in should have the quality to understand that my sport is important to me. But hey its kinda hars on the first date to open up the tupperware and start eating. Even if you make that date day your cheat day. I try to eat every 3 hours even on cheat days.

I have actually brought a bar on a date once i planned it so that i had a meal just before i picked her up (ate in the car in front of her house lol), then we went to a nice restaurant were i just had a cheat meal with lots o protein. and during the after dinner conversation i excussed my self to go to the washroom and had my bar lol, anybody else this crazy?

Argh man i typed a long boring story again :-( if i dont get some karma of this i dont know what will :p
 
People call us "addicted" to training and eating right. Truth is, it's really the couch potato people who are addicted to their horrible lifestyle and eating patterns - it controls them, ruins their body, their health, etc. and very few can ever see their way out of it.
 
Yup, we are all creatures of habbit--only different people have different habbits.

People talk about "willpower," but that is nonsense. Once eating right and training hard becomes a habbit, it takes us more willpower to take the day off and eat ice cream than it does to get to the gym and eat our 6 meals.
 
haha, this is a great thread, I got shit everytime i walked in to work with my cooler, and all these fat fucks are taking there breaks and eating pizza and fucking pretzels and shit. and there like cooler man HUHHUH, and im thinking eat that junk you fat mother fucker.
 
Jaap- That was the problem. I couldn't have cooked it earlier because I would have just gotten back from the gym and then had to leave after I showered. So I had to stay and cook the chicken. And, yeah, I've eaten on dates before. On the first date, I usually try and find a way not to seem too weird, but after a couple I just break out the tuna and rice and whatnot. I figure that if they're attracted to my muscles, then they have to deal with my eccentricities. Either that or piss off, right?
 
yah the eating 6 times a day does form a habbit dont it :p man i get so hungry if i havent eaten in the last 2.5 hours :D hmmm thinking of it lemme get some food
 
it's funny how people say to me.. "Hey YOU'RE EATING AGAIN!!?" and that gets annoying after a while b/c they'll see me at lets say 11am w/ Chicken and Rice and they think it's my lunch... then at 1 or 2 i'll come back w/ the same thing all over again and people are always puzzled by this. They think... "didn't i just see you eat that a few hours ago" and if i really want to mess w/ them i tell them "NO... you must have dreamnt it... or maybe you have some psychic powers... fuck if i know" lol. That will always get the dumb ones lol.
 
Hey and about the smoking and beers... i gotta have a cig and a beer every now and then. If not i think everyone will think i'm overly obsessed. I just don't go along w/ all the drinking rituals w/ the guys anymore, that only added up to a beer belly that took a long time to get rid of.
 
Grizzly-- yeah i agree women that can deal with us going to the gym 3 times a week and eating 6 times a day should just piss off. My girl should love me for who i am. Plus i would like it if she was attracted to me for more then my muscle. My money mayb? :p
btw. i still whould have cooked the chicken the night before :p or did he ask you on the day? some karma for yah

riskybizz-- hehe man that playing with theyre minds got a smile on my face man :p some karma for yah. And sure having a cig and a beer sometimes isnt bad man if that keeps you sane do it man. I have a couple of drinks too once every 6 months :p Myfriends get all pumped when i anouce im drinking that day lol

during one of meals, MEAL2 its during school, so in NYC we have the hot bars, 4.99 per pound so i get about 2-3 chicken breast grilled that are sliced up dont know how many chicken breast but i assume 2-3 and some broccolie and my FREIND who is overweight gets shit like (SESAME CHICKEN,POR FRY RICE,) and he asks me why am i eating so heathy and its hard to explain because he is overweight but if i explain he might sound like i am TURNING HIM DOWN because of how i am eating and how he is eating,so i simply make an excuse like "all that junk food messed up my digestive tract and doctor said to eat clean for a while" when they ask why i am drinking diet coke i say "oh i dont want a sugar rush"

its hard for me personally because this people are like SKINNY they eat anything they want and dont gain ,they dont understand for some of us we have bad genetics and that eating clean helps accomplish something..........I tried many diets and failed to lack of will power or stupidness......now that i got my act cleaned up I hardly think of pigging out even when they make stupid comments about my eating.

For example today why eating the chicken and broccolie, a bunch of girls walked by and started laught saying "LOOK AT THAT KID,HE GONNA GET FAT" i just laughed and said BIG BOOTY HOE

hehe man im not worrying i just want to vent thats all. I dont give a fuck how people look at me i will eat what i eat. I'll even give them an explanation and some advice if they will listen it just gets tiring now and then :p

But what you are doing is exactly what i mean. You are hiding you eating habits because you want to be socialy acceptable. your friend fat or not is your FRIEND. He should know why you eat that stuff, its because you like lifting and try hard to be the best you can be at it. And being the best you can be means you have to eat health food 6 times a day. Then youll god damn do that. :p

Plus im going to have a looksi at the other post right now
 
yah but half this people dont even know "DIET" its like their all life is fast food and stuff.........and when they hear it they are all suprised about it, like they think out of all the people why are u dieting? they dont understand different ways of dieting to bulk or to cut or to maintain
 
Ive dropped about 15 lbs of fat in the last 2.5 months, and been putting on muscle so the fat beeyatches in the lunch room are now embarrased when I see what THEY are eating! One fatty missed lunch so shes sitting there with a bag of Chips and a Coke making up all kinds of excuses to me as to why she is eating it.

Yeah, he asked me at the gym that day. Otherwise, I would already have had some prepared. But, even then, I need to get to bed early and I know how going to visit drunken girlies fucks up the whole sleeping thing.
