Tips on eating cheap

p0inko said:
how many cans of tuna is considered too much? i know it is loaded with mercury, and i really dont feel like going crazy or losing my hair.

ALBACORE = MERCURY

CHUNK LIGHT = GOODNESS

if I am wrong please tell me cause if I'm wrong my balls will probably turn green soon

I used to do that alot.... now I put a tab of cream cheese in there for my TKD meals

cream chese, huh? never hear of that one...getting kinda bored with tuna straight, might need to mix it up a bit. tobasco sauce isn't bad. sometimes eating tuna makes me disgusted :freak:

yeah i just load it up with tabasco and i'm good to go. i buy the shit in olive oil though. little more expensive, but more of a meal. plus i don't like mayo

over here supermarkets sell their meats cheap when its about to go past its sell by date, buy i up and stick it in the freezer

buy from markets/wholesalers, and buy bulk on non perishables when theyre discounted (tuna, whey powder, meat/chicken/fish to freeze)

cant do too much better than that imo

ok, lets hear some tips on eating cheap, because i really need to make some of my cash stretch far right now.

cheap foods:
oatmeal
eggs
frozen burritos
cans of tuna (when on sale)

when do they put all the meat out that is about to expire? do they do that at night, or do they do that first thing in the morning?

does it make more sense to get a BJ's/Costco/Sam's membership and shop there over a traditional food store, or no?

do they ever have coupons for food that isnt pure shit (fruit rollups, lucky charms, etc.)?

anything else...im sure many would like to know
