tips/hints?

Hey bros. I just started MMA a couple weeks ago at a school in Massachusetts. The BJJ/grappling stuff seems like its very complicated. I boxed for a couple years, but have no experience with grappling at all. I know I'm brand new and its going to take me a long time to learn it, but are there any tips/hints that you experienced guys can give me to make everything easier? Anything you wish you had started doing right at the beginning of your training, now that you can look back? Thanks in advance guys.

- dont focus on/worry about Sparring too much . Dont think that Sparring can be the core of your Training . This attitude leads to showing up late , and Poor Fundamentals . Show up EARLY to classes , and make sure that the part where you DRILL the moves (and get them into your muscle Memory) is the most focused upon .

- Learn how to FALL . Many MMA places work on Boxing nad BJJ but the Transition Game is weak . Donmt let this happen to you . Learn the Middle of the Road - the Takedowns/Defenses and the Falling especially . On Concete these skills can save your life .

- Do Yoga .
Seriously .
Youll thank me later .

follow ^ his advice :)

then

practice practice practice....

have fun and enjoy it

dont expect your grappling skills to match your boxing skills.. try to remember what it was like when you first learned to box. or do do anything with 0 experience...
