I'm in my mid-forties and I had my first one today on a whim. The shop is right next to my bank and my fingers were hurting because of some nail damage.

I've been missing out all these years! The manicurist is cute, it felt and looks great and it's cheap (5 euros).

I already made my appointment for next week.

No point in getting a manicure in my profession. I'd have to keep the dirt, oil, grime, grease, rock debris, and other general anti-clean hand stuff off of them for a while before I could even get one.

And there's no way in hell I'm letting anyone play with my feet long enough to get a pedicure.
