Tiny Arms

I have been trying to buily my arms up for years with very little success. I have heard it takes more to build up your arms than anything. I have been switching to 5 or 6 sets. I don't have a routine or anything like that. I'm kinda new at it, I have always trained at home. I need some advice!!! What should I do to make them bigger!?!?!

seated incline dumbell curls

seated curl bar

and heavy dumbell curls...even if you have to cheat towards the end of your set....cheat up and lower really slow.
 
Go to http:www.testosterone.net and do a search on "Great Guns". There are 4 articles that make up this 12 week program, I am now finishing it and have put on 1" with it. Not bad after training for 9 years IMHO!

I also recommend buying "Get Buffed"-really dumb name I know- by Ian King if you want to learn about training. I have also heard that "Super Training" by Mel Sif is good, but a long boring read. This will be my next book.

Lastly, if you are new to training, you shuold know its hard to build 20" arms without a solid base ie: you can't have 14" thighs. Your training should focus on compound exercises like:

1. Squats
2. Deadlifts
3. Chinups
4. Bench Press
5. Barbell Row
6. Military Press
7. Barbell Curls
8. Dips

After you pound those out, and increase the weights on all of them 50-100lbs, I guarantee you will have packed some serious size on your guns. So actually, I wouldn't even do a specialized arm routine at your level. Get some basic overall strength and siz, then focus on brining up weak parts like arms.
 
feed your body. If you have been trying for a couple of years with very little to show on your arms your not eating right. Arms grew the quickest for me(everybody is different). I would suggest showing us your diet and training program most bros like to help. Spinning your wheels for a couple years with nothing to show has to be hard. I have to hand it to you for your effort I would have given up if I hadn't seen a change.

I have a huge chest and shoulders but my arms make it all look kinda stupid. I have always had more success working my chest, maybe I have been doing that exactly right and not doing my arms the correct way. I have taken some protein but maybe not enough. Thanks for the help!!
