Starting today... dude I'm so psyched that the placebo effect alone (from the excitement of starting) will probably push me to new levels before the gear even begins to kick in! I've been waiting FOREVER for my gear to get in, and it's here and it's looking good. I held out for the 400mg/ml deca instead of the 100mg/ml crap that everybody and their brother seems to be peddling, and I think it'll be worth it to have that nice low oil content (comparitively). I also sourced some Sust 250 that I'll front-load with. I've done my research and the damn horror stories from test turn me off as a newbie, but I think it'll be nothing but beneficial considering how hard I train (clean). The poundage and strength should just pop... I can't WAIT!

Besides that, I had a good week so I'm psyched to take it to a new level! I FINALLY got the damned 110's up for 9 clean reps flat earlier this week. My chest is horribly weak compared to the rest of me, and this feels good. Got the 80's overhead for 11 reps clean on shoulder presses and 405x9 on squats for the first time since high school... I can't wait to see what kind of sick shit begins to happen in about 3 weeks!

I'm 25, 178-181lbs (depending on how many shakes are in my belly), ex-semi-pro mountain/dual slalom biker and have been lifting seriously for 2 years; last tested at 4.7% body fat. Doing the standard-issue (as suggested in Anabolics 2000 and a zillion other places) 200-400 10 week deca (pyramid in the middle) cycle... might extend it to 12 weeks if no gyno and my wanker still works, and I work out with by far the biggest freak in the gym who pushes me harder than any pro trainer I've ever had.

Hoping for 20lbs solid. Is this realistic?

eat right, train hard, get plenty of rest, stay away from the booze and you should gain some sick weight
not sure about 20lbs of muscle thats keepable post cycle

Sounds like you have pretty damn good foundation to work with already, you are going to see some serious results.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. I've been hammering myself trying to go as far as I could "clean", and I'm ready to bounce off this plateu, grab hold of that beanstalk, climb up and kick the shit out of the giant at the top and take over his castle and his women! (Okay, that metaphor was whack). Maybe I DON'T need any more testosteron in my body, haha!

The before and after photos should be pretty hilarious... I look like a ripped up skinny boy now... hopefully I'll look like a ripped up brick wall in a couple months.

I'll keep you posted.

When you start getting bigger and people notice, I like to say, "yeah, I've started doing between 20 and 30 reps of really light weight and I've stopped doing legs." That will keep the competition down.
 
Bro, make sure you eat like a horse. The more you eat the more good aminos your body gets to build muscle... and make sure you get some clomid for post cycle.

Also, when that first little boy looks up at you with awe in his eyes and asks, "Gee, Mr., how did you get such bigger muscles?"

Look down at him and say:

"Sustanon and deca, boy! It's the shit!"

You'll be starting that kid out right. : )

You guys are hilarious! Good advice on how to deal with the questions. I'd planned to tell folks I was on the Nitrotech/Celltech/Hydroxycut program. Seems like every test-swimming winny-ripped Deca dude in the gym uses that line with the inquisitive types.

I can deal with the questions, I just hope the hot little tight-bodied brown-haired bitch with the big quads (who CONSTANTLY taunts me by doing sexy little lunges in front of me no matter WHERE I am in the gym) decides that the springtime of 2002 IS the time to ride my dick.

As for the food... went and bought 2 giant bags of Costco chicken breasts today to get me through the week (twice as much as my usual) to add to my barrels o' protein, stacks o' tuna, bucket o' cottage cheese; and I've already been eating 3 lunches a day and two dinners, plus shakes. I read something that said I should be up over 5000 calories a day (not counting shit food) and THAT will be the hardest part. I'm a hungry bastard though, so eating constantly will be nice. Food is good.

BTW, I meant to write 300mg/ml Deca, not 400. I believe one of you swoll motherfuckers asked about that. I'm so excited that I'm typing with my FISTS, haha!

I injected in my quad last night, and that shit didn't hurt at all compared to how bad I expected it to! The pressure of the oil was the most uncomfortable for me. Felt like somebody smacked my leg with a ball-peen hammer, but other than that I was fine.

READY TO LIFT! Now I just have to wait patiently for the effects to begin to kick. Oh, and buy some baggy shirts, haha.:p
