the W hotel in times square is nice, it's where I'm staying. don't know of any gyms around here, I've been doing 12 to 14 hour days at the office, so no time to work out.
and FYI, nothing in NYC is cheap.

There are no cheap gyms in NYC unless you count the temporary quarters of the NB fitness dungeon in the W Hotel.
Playing "Frogger" with a homeless guy and his shopping cart is always good for some cardio, though.

I'll be there for work on mon, tue, and wed, of next week. I'll be out of work around 4:30 everyday and will have plenty of time to get out and hit a gym, I just dont have a fortune to spend. Work is being extra generous with the funds they are giving me, they are giving me a budget of $14.00 per day, the rest is up to me. Cheap bitches.

OK....sorry. Places that you must go in NYC:
1. Take the "A" train to 135th St and Frederick Douglas Blvd. Plenty to do and plenty to see. Excellent tourist spot.
2. If you like giant holes in the ground with nothing to see but the giant hole, visit ground zero.
3. If you need a shoeshine, there's a guy outside of Grand Central Station named Luis. He gives a great shine and will tell tales of Puerto Rico during war time.
4. Visit 10 Times Square. 1.2 million square feet of prime NYC real estate, with 1.2 million square feet vacant at the moment. Great economic deal for the city. Was supposed to be Arthur Andersen's headquarters.
5. Take the path train over to Jersey. If you decide to do this, do yourself a favor and kill yourself before the train ride is finished.
6. Go into Penn Station and say "I've got a bomb". Then laugh as you watch all the police and National Guardsmen run into the newstands for cover.
7. Probably your best bet: Just stay in your room and order "Ebony Erotica" on Spectravision.

I know there is an NYSC on 49th and broadway near times square. I am not sure how much they will charge you per session, you may be able to get a weekly pass. Actually, if you can fool them that you may want to join, you can get a free guest pass.
