I love bieng strong....and big....and eating what I want. But there are other things in life i want to try before I get old.

Fighting has been in my blood since grade school. I wrestled in high school, and took Tea Kwon Do when i was 12. Im a huge fan of Pride and UFC. Dan "The Beast"Severn has a training camp not too far away from where I live and aslo holds NHB contests, I might look into this later on, but for now I will just train here at home.

I sparr every now and then with a good friend of mine, and we have seriously considered getting more sierous!!!!

I want to train to fight....to have power....to have endurance....to make people tap....to make somone bleed.

I just need motivational support from my friends cause this kind of training is fucking brutal. And i lose motivation just thinking about it.

thanx in advance

There is no greater rush than mounting your opponent and armolocking him and hearing his screams of pain. I was on a judo team back when I was still in college, and the practices really fucked up with my weighttraining schedule. I suggest you do what yooou thin is best, because when you defeat your opponent.. when you make him tap or knock him out... those few seconds is well worth the hours of practice you put in to get to that moment

Let's see how many people respond with a positive, supportive nature when you tell them you want to hurt people.

MMA for sport and self-defense is a different story. If you want to make people bleed, buy a knife and become a felon.

What is wrong with hurting your opponent in a restrictive environment such as the wrestling ring. You obviously have never experienced this kind of rush.

thats part of the game....if you dont wanna bleed then dont get in the ring.......If mma was all about defence then i guess a punching bag is worthless. For sport yes, the next guy wants to hurt you in the same way....any way to win, and if you have to make your opponet bleed then so be it. Now go crap on somone elses thread, i really dont appreciate you acting like a peace making hippy.

making someone tap out is one thing, but trying to break bones or draw blood, unless your life or well being is in jeopardy is probably not the way to go. if you are losing motivation just thinking about it, that should tell you something. the mma training should be just another component of your overall regimen. wish you the best in any event.

I took Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for about a year. I was considering getting into mixed martial arts, but decided to make weight training my priority. Anyway, at no point did I want to actually break someone's arm, or choke them out.

Say, outloud, "I want to make people bleed." Let me know if you don't think that sounds pretty fucking sadistic.

Id rather say your name outloud

They teach people how to break bones in BJJ. So why did you take it?

and you dont fucking know me, I dont think i would want to hurt somone for the hell of it, i dont think man hunts for the hell of it, i dont think Body Builders and Power Lifters take steroids for the hell of it , they do it for a reason. If im gonna make somone bleed and break thier bones or what have you then its gonna be for a reason, not for the hell of it.

You need to have fun at whatever you do...not matter what it is or how big/strong you are. We are here NOT to make people big or strong of fast...but to support each other in our own paths.

Have fun...in whatever you do.

If I heard this out of your mouth no matter who you think you are or what you think you are I would say this;

Respect the mans opinion shut the fuck up or get tapped out. That's it "called out".

Plain and simple.

I like the idea Nick. I enjoy the feeling of hurting someone as well as the flow of aggression. So much that people must intervene. I know you can take it to this limit. I saw it in you. Most people are scared of whats inside of them Nick. I am not. You're not. I think you should develop it. Harness all your hate and all your aggression. Make your opponent hurt, bleed, and hopefully die.

Rock on brother.

Polishhammer your mentality is surprisingly close to that of a serial killer. To each his own, I guess. But one of my friends got mugged and she was almost raped as well. I'm sure that person did "enjoy the feeling of hurting someone." I'd like to see you hold this same opinion when someone sends you or a loved one to the hospital and you watch them eat through a tube. I'm sure then you'll be glad that they "harnessed their hate and agression." Sick fuck.

Why do you always have to be the one to post your negative opinions, no one asked you for any of that, no one on this thread has appreciated any of your comments. Stop shitting in every thread you post in here. We are all sick of it.

Listen little boy. I have seen more REAL SHIT go down in my life and you learn fast. @ 12 years old I saw more than you will ever see. Debaser can talk all you shit you want behind the screen. Even if you saw me you wouldnt be intimidated. Once you see the eyes roll and the anger tightening I think you would second guess yourself.

It's about hate, aggression and harnessing it into a skilled event
You know what, life sucks and the assholes win. I will keep eliminating them as I go on my way. Anyone that knows me personally will tell you that I am the nicest of people. When you push me, I can kill you or you will have to kill me. It's that simple.

Debaser it is put simply as the aggression to drive us on. Wanting to see someone hurt is not bad IMO, it is a tool that needs to be refined and used. Now being a sociopath and killing people on the local neighborhood walk is just wrong, but in your case I wouldn't look down on NWinters for doing it....

When I fought in Martial Arts (yes, even the sissy sport karate stuff) I fought to hurt the other person. You don't pull any punches (pulled punches are slower too) and you do not hit them 'lightly'.

I had several students who would THINK that they were getting a leg up on me from time to time because I always fought down to their level. Once they got even the slightest bit cocky...I would turn it up a notch and put them back into reality:)

thanx Polish Hammer, Tec, Iron Lion, B-fold, Revex, Swain, Zander, Suston for supporting me and my goals.

I will keep an online tally for those i kill....cause im a "sadistic" fuck cause Debaser says so......cause he's a fucking vegatarian.

hahaha good luck man. sounds like a lot of fun

debaser, i can see how you form those opinions. i think most would. but most people are twinkies.

this kind of stuff is FUN. its all about having FUN.

like already mentioned, it would be sadistic if you pulled a blade and knifed random people in your neighborhood. this isn't sadistic. it is controlled, with a ref, in a ring/on a mat

That wasn't supposed to turn me on, was it? Oops.

Good luck in your training. It takes a lot, mentally and physically, to harness all your energy and apply it in such a way. Very admirable!

I NEED to get my boyfriend to respond. He's very, very proficient and knowledgable in MMA.

let's see if he can log in.....

train hard and remember full commitment is needed, no pulling shots or going for easy taps, you take the chances you get to win even if it is the most brutal way

What the hell does this have to do with anything?

Fact of the matter is, if your friend had some of the "I want fo make someone bleed" attitude (and the training to boot) she more than likely would not have been a target.

This is a very serious sport, and if you don't have the "go for the throat" attitude, you best not step into the ring.

MMA, wimps need not apply.

Go for it NWinters! I've been thinking about doing the same thing one day...just packing up my shit and going to(trying out for) lion's den or another big name club.

I love training to get big and strong, but I can do that the rest of my life (look at guys like odd haugen and louie simmons in their 50's). This is just something I would love to experience and put everything I have into for a few years and say that I did it.

I'm a month away from being 18, so I have some time to figure this out, but its going to be in the back of my mind.

When I fight I do not fight to hurt anyone. I fight to win. I hold four heavy weight belts in two different organizations right now. I am an MMA fighter. I will not give specifics because anoninimity is one of the virtues of this board.

However, I will say this. No fighter I have ever met goes into the right with the attitude you have displayed here today. We fight for the sport and for the win. We train hard, sweat hard, bleed hard all for the sport. Big and strong does not win a fight. Trust me I know. I have been at both spectrums of the Heavy weight class and I am just now finding my grove after 2 years. I have trained with people like matt lindlin, randy coulture, tim silvia, and a few others. All of them would tell you the same thing.

An MMA fighter fights from the heart not the hands. Skill, speed, and strength are deffinatley important but so is humility and humbleness. If you do manage to find a good place to train such as with Dan Severn they will beat that attitude out of you very quickly and it will be to your advantage.

I respect your goals. I was/am still right there with you. I know where you are comming from as I have walked the same road. If you want it bad enough you can make it happen. You just have to work and work and work to get there. I work two jobs and still train four to five hours a day. I lose a lot of time that I would like to spend with my family but we are all in agreeance as to what I am trying to accomplish.

I would encourage you to follow your dreams. Just do so with humilty and honor not with a chip on your shoulder looking to "make somone bleed". More often than not you will be the one left on the mat lying in the blood when you train for those goals. Karma is a bitch and it has a way of making you hurt.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions I will be happy to help. I am not trying to flame you I am just concerned about yoru approach.

Good luck.

Persue the fighting if you feel the need to. Some people fight for goals and honor. You also have to realize that homo sapiens are the most aggresive, destructive species that has ever existed on the face of this planet. We sugar coat what we really are with courtesy and manners so that we can function in society. If you never acknowledge our dark side and let it out in a safe way, you are playing with fire.

Thank you what? That is how gigantasor feels and good for him. I have never held any titles or fought in any kind of professional fighting sport, but I have had two professional boxers as coaches and you know what? They were some of the most aggressive, hate filled people that I have ever met. And they would also say they only fight to win and then proceed to knock people into comas. I saw a thing on tv about mark kerr and he too said he only fought to win. Then it showed a clip of him smashing some guys face into hamburger with his head. It also showed kerr face while he was doing it. Know what expression was on it? Rage. Look at tank abbotts face when he fights, he isnt a cool professional getting the job done, he is pissed as hell. Be honest with yourself if you are involved in any violent sport, you are a violent person or you wouldnt be doing it. All aggresive people have a way of channeling those drives into someting thats positive.... it's called RESPECT. Respect for other peoples skills and accomplishments, respect for people themselves. Let me make a point. Aggression and violence are GOOD things if used in a positive manner. If it werent for the aggressive and violent nature of WW2 vets who knows how many more innocent people would have been killed in Germany? If it werent for aggressive cops using violence against criminals there would be a lot more murders, rape and other sick crap. The key is to channel that rage into something productive. We have become over civilized in this county into thinking that anybody with a pair of fucking balls is a thug, and that is total bullshit. We're MEN not plastic ken dolls. Wolves dont apologize for what they are, we shouldnt either.

I do agree with both of you. I am a fairly passive person but were it not for the competitvie aspects of MMA I would have a lot of unchanneled anger.

I also agree that when the cage dore slams its time to work. I cannot say I feel rage but I do want to distroy that guy until the job is done. It isn't a personal grudge, most of the time, but rather a desire to win at all costs. I am a calm person because I have a very good outlet.

Warpath you have a very good point. Nothing on earth can be accomplished half way. When I fight I fight to win even if I do have to get pissed off to do it. Hell I probably do and I just don't realize it even after all is said and done.

Debaser I hope you don't mean this cause you really have no clue of the person's intellect who wrote this and their background.

A person like you is a liability cause in a moment of true threat you would be the one to freeze or talk it out cause you don't want to acknowledge your aggressive side. You are the people that need to be protected in a moment of crisis. It is bitches like you who criticize the soldier for going out into hell and being as savage as they can to protect their family and country safely from your cozy little home. Society has made pussies like you the norm. Telling people rage is bad and anger is bad; we should just hold it in right untill we go crazy, right? I think not, let it out in a controlled manner whethter it be lifting or fighting in a sport

Debaser you really epitomize all the things wrong with society today.

Hammer I think many valid points are being made.

Warpath your sick sense of honor is like old scholl samurai mentality, nice!!!

You're right suston. I'm just a pussy. You're a MAN. And men KICK FUCKING ASS.

Debaser,

Give it a rest man. . .this is not your thing. . . .no you aren't a pussy, you are a person who is skeptical and vocal, which is fine.

However, theres no since in keeping the fire burning and continuously upsetting board members.

Just ignore this thread if it rubs you the wrong way.

In fact, you should get a t-shirt with this:

Debaser I am who I am and I can't change that and you are who you are; a coward. people like you hide behind society cause you are weak. in feudal times you would have been the rich merchant who like a bartering whore, would hire a warrior to fight for you. Deep down inside you know that it takes courage and determintation to fight and put one's own self on the line. Others like myself will do what you can't, because behind your walls of laws and gentle manners you stand pissing and moaning cause to be honest you can't do anything else but complain. In a true struggle you need any tolls you can get to survive and to lnot use rage and hate is to leave yourself vulnereable

I'm a coward because I don't like to hurt or kill people? I'll defend myself or others readily, and I would sacrafice my life to save a friend's any day. The difference is people like you look for a reason to fight. I'd rather look for reasons not to fight. I don't need to "channel my rage and hate" onto a person's face to be emotionally stable. You're simply trying to justify being a violent person.

Folks, this thread is headed in the wrong direction. It will be locked before we know it. I hope that Winters had his questions answered. There is no need for further debate.

Guys, I am glad you can see my point. We all know who we are inside and refuse to be given a label by those who fear. Stay true to yourself.

And what exactly do I fear? I know I have aggression and anger sometimes, everyone does.

You don't have to take it out on a person.

Take it out on the fucking barbell.

The cardio is a must if you wanna last 3 rounds..I have a lot of good ideas for conditioning!!!! Im out of the gym this week cause im working 16hr days (still working) and i thought it would be a waste to only go to the gym with 4 hrs of sleep. Plan on working on some leg locks and takedowns. I bought this book last year called The Fighters Notebook. Its very detailed and has pictures showing you exactly how to sub people, also has everything you need to know about how to get in shape to be a fighter
