Brandy the singer justed killed someone. I heard she isnt sorry at all she just doesnt want to go to jail or be sued. (The woman who died had to little kids as well)

the
L56 refers to how many gun barrel sizes make up the length of the gun
the 88L56 was a brut force gun
the Panthers were equipped with a 70L71
sure 70mm is smaller than 88mm
but the 70L71 was a more accurate gun
70mm stretched out 71 times
a longer gun barrel providing both greater accuracy and velocity of the fired shell
the longer the fired shell remains in the actual barrel the greater the force channeled into launching the shell and directing it's towards target
so the 88mmL56 wasn't as good as the 70mmL71
often bigger isn't better

Rommel did well in africa setting up his 88s and drawing the British into the "killing zone"
and when the German's invaded the soviet union in 1941 they were faced with T-34s and KVs that clearly out-classed the armor in their inventory
you just can't drive an 88 up to the point of contact as the German's engaged in blitzkrieg mobile warfare
what they did was eventually put that 88mm gun in a tank
and thus the Tiger

the war was over for them by then
the German's scored their greatest victories with cheesy armor
