Does anyone split hammys and quads? I want to bring up my hamstring development with a sperate training day (w/ calves and abs).....wondering what other movements you guys do other than, SLDL, leg curls, hypers and Good ams............thnx
 
my hams are small, they get trained on monday with bi's and i have made improvements

here is what usually happens

lying leg curls, pyramid up the stack starting with 15reps
sdls/rdls work up 315 (for now)
seated leg curls 2 monster drop sets, start with stack, move down 2 plates at failure

this is what i have been doing and it has worked for me
 
I need about 9-11 sets......a decent one is SLDL....start with the bar and two quarters on each side...do 6 reps and add 10 to each side.....6 reps and add 10s.....etc......pretty good
 
i like hammys on back day....works much better for me than on leg day...this also gives me more energy to concentrate on quads, my lagging bodypart
 
Hamstrings must basically be worked out when doing legs. For instance if you are doing squats, you are working out your hamstrings, when you are lifting the weight.
try this routine:
Squats(5 sets)
SLDL(4 sets)
Leg press or Lunges(4 sets)
Standing leg curles.(4 sets)
Calfs.(5 sets)
