Ticket brokers...

Ya know these fucks who buy up tickets from ticketmaster and resell them for alot more.

Taking the GF to see Louis Black for Valentines Day next month and Ticketmaster is sold out. So I call Ticket King. Mother fuckers want $80 a piece for $37 tickets, plus a $15 service charge. Worst yet is this was the cheapest secondary place I could find. Others wanted over $90.

How the fuck is scalping illegal, but this isn't? Cause they pay fucking taxes? Just spent $177 on what should have cost less than $80.

Anybody else ever use these fucks?

i know. how come cops don't bust them, but they'll bust you if you do the same down the street.

what pisses me off -- is that they TAKE AWAY a perfectly good ticket from a fan, by them grabbing shitloads of good tickets right at the beginning. Just so they can jack up the price and sell it later on.

Yep: I just paid $700 for 2 Motley Crue tickets. After going to one concert 2 years ago in the 2nd row I said to myself I never want to see a concert unless I'm on the floor a few rows away from the stage. I still havent gotten front row seats though... Can't find them even through ticket brokers.

It does suck overpaying but it's entertainment and I look at it a different way rather than what I'm spending.

I was thining about going to the Crue too. Saw them in 6th grade on the Dr. Feelgood tour.

i'm still trying to snag a good price on crue tickets on ebay. i'm gonna search for last minute ones at like 1am and see if i can grab a steal.
