Took my second shot of sust on Friday. Put the amp in nearly boiling water to heat the oil. Did the injection, this time in my left cheek, was much worse to do using my left hand, really didn't like it but got the job done...

Did what you guys reccomended:

got the heat massager on it.

did some lunges

rubbed the injection site really well

Felt a lot better than the first time right away. Sunday now and the pain is minimal.

Question on bubbles though:

Why can't I get all of the bubbles out? I spent 20 mins with syringe trying to get every last little bastard out, but it just wouldnt happen. I made sure that when I was injecting I held the needle at an angle so that the bubble would be at the plunger end. Have I got shit syringes or something?

Dont worry about all the bubbles. have you ever tried a Quad shot? For me it was easier. I used the Glute when i first stared, but i always had problems getting around. I changed to the Quad, it is much easier and you will be relaxed. I have ran oil and water based in the quad with no problem.

With air bubles you should minimize them but you will almost never get rid of all of them..
 
don't worry about the bubbles bro. i am certified to do serious first aid care and one of the things you do to qulify for this class is to administer an IV. when we do this in class it is student on student and it's there that you learn that small air bubbles don't mean crap. i have watched small air bubbles go right down the IV line and into my arm with no problems. they told in the class that it would take a couple of cc of straight air to have adverse affects on a person and that is intravenious, nothing compared to intramuscular.
 
what size needle are you drawing the gear up with ? the smaller the needle, the more vacuum you are drawing and the more "air bubble" which mostly are very small and aren't air at all, but just a vacuum bubble of nothing. the gear is thick so thats why. draw with 21-22 gauge and then put a 25g on to stick it. i cant use my glutes anymore cause my arms so big i cant reach my ass very easily. i use my quads now and they are so much easier. only hurt the first couple times now no pain in quads.
and i've never warmed my gear first of used a heating pad. i just rub the vial back/forth in my palms for a few minutes to get a little heat in it. as long i massage the area for a few minutes it's all good.

Rack deadlifts from the knee with hands outside the power rings:

Set 1: 600lb x 10reps

Set 2: 495lb x 25reps

I'm absolutely certain that I'll do better next week too!
