I've noticed ppl on here mostly do a 4 day split. For the past 4 weeks, I've been on a split that looks something like this:
Monday- Legs
Tuesday-Chest
WEd- Rest
Thurs- Back
Friday - Shoulders
I was working out 5-6 days a week. I've been reading that people should only work out 4 days a week because of over training. THat doesn't seem right to me b/c in football you work out 6 days a week. I've been hitting it hard b/c I'm off for the summer.
Anyways, I thought I might deviate from the 4 day split and go on something like this:
Monday- Legs & shoulders
Tues-Back and chet
and just alternate. Hit it up 3 times a week, but do only 2-3 sets of compound exercises(sort of like HST routine). However, the HST routine only works out 3 days a week, that is kind of why I am not feeling it. Maybe once school starts back up I will do that routine b/c I might not have as much time. Thoughts?
