Those training while using Celebrex?

My doctor just prescribed this for me while I go through my knee surgery.

Does anyone experience any of the side effects I read about with this stuff? Also, does it stop protein synthesis like Ibuprofen? TIA!

Prime Rib, I don't see any muscle protein synthesis info for Vioxx, Celebrex, or Mobic. That could just mean that it hasn't been tested or that I just haven't found it....but so far I see nothing.

I am training on Celebrex right now. The only side effects would be the ones common in anti-inflamatories: it can tear your stomach up. It's just a very strong Ibuprofen basically. I don't know about it stoping protein synthesis, but I'd assume it is fairly close to Ibuprofen. As spatts said, it may not have been tested for that.
