Those that run liquidex..

No need for Nolva.

Doesn't the function of liquidex and nolvadex differ? As in one completely blocks the conversion of (estrogen?) and one prevents it? Just curious how similar the two are in function.

i run .5mg liquidex and 20mg nolva a day also, no bloat, ive put on 10lbs in the first 3 weeks since my cycle started running 50mg dbol a day and 500mg eq and 500mg test eth a week. week 4 starts monday

Liquidex stops your body's production of estradiol, while nolvadex blocks the estrogen receptors directly.

Taking either will keep gyno at bay to a certain degree, but only one keeps water bloat down --> Liquidex !!

If gyno does start to manifest itself while taking ldex, add 20mg nolva/day and you should be good.

One other note - Liquidex will screw up your lipid profile. Estrogen is a natural cholesterol fighter. Inhibiting the body's natural production of estradiol will cause LDL to go up and HDL to possible go down.

Shoot me some karma if this answers you question.

Nice! My cycle is identical to yours. Except EQ is 400mg. What kind of EQ and Test are you running?

Liquidex may not be enough (for sensitive individuals). On my current cycle I am on 2.5 mg of femara eod for 625 mg of test/week and started developing one puffy nip last week. I had to run nolva 30 mg/day for 3 days to bring it down. You must have nolva on hand at all times as you never know...

The liquidex is enough, but i think that more than .25mg per day makes me weaker. I swear, when i was taking .5mg a day i lost strenght, but when i dropped it to .25mg per day everything is betta.
Am i alone on this one?

Yes, you are. If you think arimidex is the cure all for gyno problems, think again. You MUST have nolva on hand at all times...
Though I do agree to some extent that it will cause you to not gain as much strength (however what it prevents you from gaining is probably lost post cycle anyway...i.e. estrogen related water retention)

I know this may be a far fetched question, but would 20mg of Nolva prevent gyno more then .25 of liquidex?

Since they act so differently it would difficult to compare, but if I had to guess I would say yes. Remember though the l-dex helps stop the conversion of excessive T to E, while nolvadex simply binds the ER (thus not allowing estrogen to exert its effects...), though nolva does nothing to stop circulating E.

Thanks.

I always run L-dex or A-dex with all my cycles, and i ALWAYS have some nolva on hand just in case some gyno signs pop up!!

I was not saying to throw away all other anti-estrogens if you have liquidex. But taking both at the same time if sort of redundant.
But you didn't really answer my question about it hindering strength. I know you will get less water retension which you would lose postcycle anyway, but water retension has never made me stronger.
If you were talking about not gaining size, i can see where the water retension comes from, but in this case it has nothing to do with strength.
But i agree, its always good to have the right tools for the job on hand, but the fact is that you shouldn't need the nolvadex, and that was the question, not whether or not he should have it on hand.
And by the way, i don't think that anytone believes that arimidex CURES gyno, it only PREVENTS it from happening, so i don't need to think again.
