This weeks training....sorry I'm a slacker

DE lower body:

Speed box squat: 50lbs x 10 x 2
Speed Sumo dead: 65 x 4 x 1
Overhead Squats: 30 lbs. x 4 x 10
Reverse Hyper: BW x 3 x 8
DB rows: 20 lbs x 4 x 6
BB shrugs: 50lbs x 3 x 15

DE upper body:
Bench Press: 45 lbs x 10 x 3, 70lbs x 1
Decline elbow extension: 15lbs x 4 x 8
DB side raises: 5 lbs x 3 x 10
Bentover DB side raises: 2.5 lbs x 3 x 10

ME lower body:
Good Mornings: 95 lbs x 1
Zerchers: 75 lbs x 3
GLute Ham Raises: BW x 3 x 10
Reverse Hypers: BW x 3 x 8
Pull down abs: 75 lbs x 5 x 15

ME upper body:
Floor Press: 75 lbs x 1
Two Board Press: 75 lbs x 2 ..missed the third.
Lying BB tricep extensions: 20 lbs x 6 x 10
Push Downs: 30lbs x 3 x 10
One arm press: 15 lbs x 3 x 15
DB bicep curls: 10 lbs x 2 x 15

I did not make any impressive pr's this week but as Exodus has explained that is not always the first priority. I have come to realize that speed and form play a vital role in westside. It does bother me that I did not go up as much as I expected but it was still a great training week. My goal is to eventually catch up with spatts....somewhere down the road..

no, shes no slaker in the gym. she busted her butt and made poppa proud!!!!!:fro:

You guys should go to the PDA equipment site and get some of those 1/2 pound plates. I bet she could have set a 1 pound PR this week on something for sure...

It is important to set a PR every week...I hate to miss one though. I just try to break my PR and then if I feel good I'll take another weight.

I couldn't figure out why anyone would call that a slacker routine. That looks like a totally bust ass program.
 
Trinity, keep in mind that in powerlifting there are weight classes. If you figure your lifts per pound of body weight, you may find that you're lifting more than me on some things...pound for pound. Personally, I find it hard enough to compete with myself, but I find other lifters very encouraging. :)

You're doing great...keep posting up the numbers!
