Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below Im going to buy a house 2 miles from the one i live in now and they do not offer DSL there! I cannot go back to dial up! Right now I get an average of 600 down and 130 up and I love it. I game and pirate large files all the time. There is no cable internet either. Satelite internet is ok but has a lag so gaming would suck. The only other option would be to get frame relay but the cost is fucking insane. 5k for setup and $300 a month! It would be great haveing 1.5 meg up and down for my network but I just think of all the gear I could by with kind of money! heh. It is my dream house but I am actually thinking about not closing the deal because of this. Verision has no idea how long it will be before DSL would be available either. This sucks. I Just wanted to see if anyone else on the board had any idea's. Thanks sorry for the long read!

yes Sat service has a delayed lag....it cannot be avoided due to data transfer and recieving.
