This sucks. Anybody else have relatively low body fat with gyno?

I got the gyno in 1997 in the fall. I took the arimidex in the spring of 1998 and had absolutly no gyno when I competed that year.

Coming up soon im going to try large amounts of arimiex for long periods of time to see what it does for my small amount of gyno. Macro seems to think that this may work for reducing the gland. It will be expensive but if it works, it will be well worth it.

I don't think you need large amounts. Try 1 mg a day. It worked for me and I had more then mild gyno.

thats what i was planning on trying. So it worked for you? how long until you started noticing a decrease in tissue?

A couple of weeks. I also took 10mgs of noveldex. It was pretty amazing because I was training for a show at the time and I was taking loads of shit and the gyno still went away. People who saw me the year before thought I had the surgery. Amazing stuff.

It seems to me that even though most of the guys on here are very intelligent indeed, gyno is an issue where many people have their facts wrong. First off, some of you guys talk as if gyno is simply fat around the chest/nipple area. That is absolute nonsense. Gynecomastia is a condition in which FIRM breast tissue forms in males. The breast tissue is usually less than 1-1/2 inches across and is located DIRECTLY UNDER the nipple. Gynecomastia may be present on one side or on both sides, and may make the breast tender.
Some men and boys have fat on their chests that makes it LOOK like they have breasts. This condition is called pseudogynecomastia (false gynecomastia). It is not the same thing as gynecomastia, so don't tell guys who post about having fatty nips/chestthat the only option is surgery. Most of these guys I predict will only have FALSE gyno that can be gotten rid of through diet and exercise. Research before you answer, a lot of guys depend on people on this board to help. Make sure you have all the facts first.

Yozzer, good point but I am sitting at 10% bf and my hard tissue showed up after my test cycle so mine is true gyno, though a small amount. I'm definetly going to do this arimidex thing though so ill keep everyone updated.

If I am wrong in what I have said please say so because I have the same problem of fat around the chest area, but I also have love handles, and there is no firm tissue anywhere, all soft. I hope I am right in what I say, because that would mean I don't have gyno, but false gyno. I also see a lot of guys talk about how the 'gyno' goes away when they are cold. Well, that is the same with me and many people I see. Can someone shed any light on this? I don't believe real gyno would go away at ANY point no matter what temperature you are. Estrogen does cause gyno but it can cause fat deposits too, and fat deposits alone.

Gyno does not go away when you get cold. It becomes less noticable because your nipple gets hard but nothing will cover real gyno when you are lean. It is very noticable when someone is ripped. Look at pictures of ronnie coleman in '98. I really don't think there is anything called "false gyno" that just means you are fat and your tits are sagging. If you have real gyno you know it because it hurts so much it will wake you up at night when you roll on it. Also try bench pressing with a bad case of gyno. The arimidex did work for me. It is worth a shot before surgery.

I stated that my gyno comes and goes---I didnt mean that figertively-----I have a small case of it----It is here to stay ---- I was just stating that once you have it your mind is always on it so when you get a chill or nips get cold the gyno is still their but it gives an illusion that it is not----My bodyfat is down to 8% right now and to all the guys over 10% that have puffy nips, like stated above you do not necessarily have gyno----
