Social life is KILLING my diet

Too much background to write.

I was married. Lost 65 lbs of fat, then got rid of the wife.

While I was married (had no social life), sticking to my diet was easy. It was my only goal & I didn't really have anything else going on.

Fast forward a year & I've got the last 20 lbs to lose. I REALLY want to get this weight off, but I find myself, uh, socialising a lot.

Ok, ok, I'm boozing it up & chasing tail on my time off. Or meeting dates for drinks & appetizers.

Throw into the mix I work a 12 hr rotating shift, so sleep becomes the main thing that loses out second to diet, when all the socialising takes place.

So, I had an idea. I'd like to hear if you guys think it could work.

I have zero trouble hitting my calories & macros when I'm on shift. That's 15 days of the month.

When I'm off, I find myself drinking a little hard & eating some junky food. Chilis sw eggrolls call me like a siren song.

So, I'm thinking on my days off, I just eat my protein goal for the day (with a tiny bit of fat) just like beef & eggs & chicken breast, whey protein. Etc.

Then, I let it rip for one meal & drinks.

I wouldn't do this every single night I'm off, but we'll say 75%

So something like 8 nights a month I'm just blowing it up, but I'm getting my protein.

Possible to get down to ab showing range, or do I need to just buckle down. Close down the social life for 3 months & get this fat off?

I'm kind of an all or nothing dude. I don't do moderation well.

Help a dude out.

I just want to look good for the beach. I've no interest in competing. Just want chick's to say DAMN, when I take my shirt off. Ya know?

I should also say that I don't do sugary mixers. All my drinks are whiskey w/diet soda or michelob ultra.
 
You know what's funny? You make a post about starting a cycle or using a cutting drug, & everyone wants to jump all over your diet.

Make a post about diet, & all you get are crickets chirping. Lol.

Anyway, I KNOW there are some absolutely shredded physiques on this sight. & I know there's a TON of folks more knowledgeable than me.

So, anybody feel free to chime in. Or was it just a stupid question?
 
I think you already know the answer bro, if you want to be shredded you have to diet and not cheat. That's my opinion. Now if you want to have one or two cheat meals including drinks on your days off, I'd say go really low carb like only lean meat/ eggs and fibrous vegetables during the day and also up your cardio on your off days that you cheat aswell. That should help, I mean like you said your not wanting to compete.
 
Keto is what got me to where I'm at. I'm really comfortable with it.

That was my plan. Just go keto, & when I do blow it up (maybe a couple days a week) it becomes a ckd.

Obviously a much less rigid form of one, but I think it should work.

& yeah, I'm planning on a shit load of cardio.

I've never been below where I'm at body fat wise, but then again, I've never tried either.
 
No prob man, I actually do something similar to what I proposed to you. It def keeps the sanity when not trying to get to comp. condition
 
I work 12 hr rotation as well with night shift. 5 days on 5 days off. Motivation is what keeps me away from going out. I still go out everynow and again but its rare. Just plan youre diet accordingly to your cheat and focus on your goal. Itll feel way better completing your goal than going out.
