Try doing 90 on a 650 then a 1600 and tell me how the 1600 is barely working in 3rd gear while the 650 is beating you up with the RPMs in 5th trying to keep up with your throttle.

With a 1600 i might could manage to stay on the highway longer than a half hour and make a decent road trip. Central texas has some dope hill country bike routes

In the old days when I played with murdercycles the 4 cylinder bikes were MUCH smoother than twins of the same displacement.

May have suffered in performance, butt were superior in highway cruising.
