Anyone have good technics to get rid of them? I have the ant bait plastic things there now. I might buy a spray that kills them and spray outside the bck door.

Ants, those bastards. I live in the 6th. floor so I haven't had any fights with ants in a long time. Don't they hate salt? If that doesn't work then I recommend a flying elbow from the top rope.

The stuff I use is 100% safe, made from asprin extract or something.

You're going to want to trace them back into the yard somewhere and sprinkle a few cups of it along their little trail.

Try a product called Ant-B-Gone (nice name). It works great. I had a swarm of those little black ones that had gotten in under the woodwork in my family room some how and I put a few drops down for them. They sucked that shit up for a few days and took it back to wherever they were coming from and 4 or 5 days later, all gone!

Ant-B-Gone can be used outside as well. I actually found a bunch in my garage (I suspect they were getting in through there somehow) and put some down there as well. All gone!

Seriously though, now that we`re on the subject, does anyone know what those little red insects are? They`re almost microscopic, 1/10th the size of ants and when you kill them they smear red all over the place. They resemble spiders from what I can see. I`m guessing they need a different treatment. Those are on my front door and steps. They`re bastards too.

From google...It's not poisonous to animals or people simply because the quantities are too small. It would still be a good idea to keep it away from children and pets.

4 tsps boric acid powder. Purchase a life-time supply of boric acid powder at a pharmacy for about $2.

3 cups water
1 cup sugar


Bring to boil. Stir to disolve solids. Let cool.

Place out for ants to find by soaking a cotton ball in the solution and placing in a small plastic salsa or salad dressing container, the kind used for take-out food. Close the container and cut a few small holes in the side for the ants to crawl in (not too many holes, or the solution will evaporate too quickly and they won't like it anymore).

The idea behind this recipe, it was explained, is that when the ants drink enough of the solution, it crystalizes inside them and they die. Other ants eat the dead ants, then then they eventually eat enough of the boric acid and they die, too. Eventually, the entire colony dies. Then they leave you alone.

(Or you could take them skydiving with out a....nevermind. Fucker! )

It took 4 tries to catch a little field mouse over the last two days.....the damn mouse chewed thru the thread I was using to tie the bacom to the trap...ate thru it and didnt trip it THREE TIMES
