LIVONIA, Mich. (AP) - City officials say part of a Livonia man's elaborate Halloween display must come down.
Mike Kinney says all the headstones and semi-automated characters have to be moved by Monday or he faces a $500 fine or 90 days in jail.
Officials ticketed Kinney and ordered him to remove the decorations after getting an anonymous complaint.
Kinney tells the Detroit Free Press he's been decorating for the holidays for nearly 2 decades and has never had a problem before.
Meanwhile, a judge has shut down a family's haunted house in Howell Township. The Livingston County Daily Press & Argus reports the ruling doesn't affect the farm's corn maze.
