I hardly seen ANYONE with lower abs developed like their upper. Its so hard to really place a lot of stress on them without bringing the hip flexors into it. Does ANYONE on here have decent lower abs that can give some tips or secrets on how to grow your lower 2 abs?
 
Well, what I've never understood is... what's the problem with bringing the hip flexors into the workout? So long as lower-abs are targeted. I might be missing something. Is training the hip flexors bad?
 
Legion... I personally hit my hip flexors hard when working abs... I love spread eagle sit-ups holding a weight plate behind my head.. It tortures your lower abs and hip flexors... Also doing wide stance pull down abs hit them hard.... Strengthening the hip flexors is very important for powerlifting..
