This diet crap sucks!!

I have been starving all day!! And not being able to have cereal or milk or coffee or Diet Soda, just sux!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I can't wait for Saturday (graduation party) & Sunday (The Taste of Wilmington)
 
You are supposed to have several small servings thru-out the day not starve yourself that aint healthy,besides that fools your body thinking its in a starvation mode so when you do eat it hordes calories & fat like a sponge , then you gain more weight than what you previously lost(Thats where it got the name yo-yo diet)

I hate eating. I have realized that my release day is not eating at all. I wish I could have just a pill to replace all my meals. It would only take me 2 sec of my life.

That's what I am doing.....

but I've been trying to decrease my portions and try to keep my calories around 1,600 per day and am reducing my carbs to about 100g per day, protein at about 1.5x my bodyweight, etc etc....

But I'm still hungry!!!!!!!

Well, no caffeine, the cofee & soda have caffeine, soda has the citric acid or whatever it is, plus in my coffee I need to use milk &/or creamer & milk/creamer has sugar which I can't have, and since I can't have sugar I can't have catsup on my eggs, or the cereal I like, the low carb ww tortillas I bought have hydrogenated oil in them.......blah blah blah

But I want to drop some bf cuz I think I have some pudge, so I'm tweaking my diet and it just SUCKS!!

I'd listen to your body. I went into starvation mode on 2500 kcal a day (of course i was doing 1000 kcal in cardio 5x a week and taking 12.5mcg T3 at the time, plus im a muscular male), but now that im on 3100 kcal a day dieting is alot easier. on 2500 kcal i would alternate between feeling wired and lethargic, i would dream about food and obsess over it, etc. i wont lose as much weight as fast on 3100 kcal but its alot less painful now.

Well it keeps saying it wants pretzels.....mmmmm Rold Gold Honey Wheat Braided Twists.....

I don't know......I wish someone could just tell me what to eat.....how many calories, etc cuz I just can't figure this out on my own....
 
learn to drink your coffee black. it's better that way. trust me. a few years ago, i ran out of milk and sugar and forgot to get more. had to suffer through black coffee. i forgot again that night, so day 2, same deal. by day 3, however, i didn't think it was too bad. been a few years now and i always have it black or occasionally with flavored creamer.

if i count my shakes as meals, i'm up around 7 meals a day. i'd say i'm probably hitting 240g of protein a day. not double BW for me (about 165lbs right now) but it's enough to grow on.

same here. im afraid if i cut too low my body will go into starvation mode, i will be in diet hell, burn tons of muscle and screw my biochemistry to make me more fat than i was to begin with.

on the other hand i'm afraid if i increase calories weight loss will either stop or slow to a crawl.

Ugh, black coffee...... :worried: I'd rather do without!! I want to get some of that SF Davinci flavored syrups when they go on sale again.....see how they taste....

So far today I have 165g protein (I weigh about 135 maybe a little more), 98g carb, 17g fiber....

Yep, exactly.........I joined another site where you post what you eat everyday and they critique it......since I can't eat the same things every day again & again, I'm seeing what changes I need to make...

So far I've been told: less than 100g carbs per day NOT including fiber :worried: , 1.5x bodyweight in protein, no caffeine, no sugar, no Diet Sodas, no milk, increase fats, max 30g protein in every meal, good fats in every meal, carbs in meals vary per day.

So far, I'm not doing anything right...... :rolleyes:

If you want coffee try the sweetner "Equal" it take a day or so but it grows on ya!

Yep I feel you. I feel like I'm starving too.. but I'm still too fat, so have to continue cutting.

Jen I started this today.. No creamer in my coffee. Yes it's going to take some getting use to.. I read the post about how Puddles lost some weight just cutting out the creamer.
So Cold Turkey today..

I hate dieting so much. I have been on a diet since I was 10 years old.

I don't think guys really understand how hard of a time women have!! :worried: :chomp:
 
Well, I'm a rebel!! A rebel without a clue......

I had 2 cups of coffee today with FF French Vanilla creamer and a bowl of cereal with skim milk......I can't waste it.....Once I'm done with the creamer and the gallon of milk I have (about 1/2 of it left) I'm going to give up dairy for 4-6 weeks & see what happens.....ugh I'm gonna kill myself......
 
So far today I've had steak, romaine lettuce and a carb free salid dressing (ok 1 g per 2 tbs...). Yummy.

After 2 days "practicing" for cutting I'm having a blowout weekend then I will get my ducks in a row for my cut....then I'll eat the ducks...no sauce tho....

At the graduation party I had baked pasta with meatballs, turkey, soda, cake, 1 cookie, and they had baked beans, a veggie tray & chips & stuff.....

It was a pretty nice party but Jess' mom (my hubby's ex wife) had me bring over a brand new bottle of vodka but I didn't get any!! WTF?? They didn't open it while i was there....

um you should have poured it in the beer bong :D
 
why not just do some cardio in the mornings? Your body will be glycogen depleted because of sleep and there are no carbs to really burn off... but if you do that make sure it's something like walking because high intensity in the AM will burn muscle as well. If I can drop 6 pants sizes just by doing 45-60 minutes on a treadmill with no diet change then surely you could drop your fat just a little bit by maybe doing 20 -30 mins 3 times a week or so. People always forget about timing. Are you lifting weights? if so that will deplete your glycogen as well.... why not have your coffee with creamer and sugar then right after you are done... add it to your post work out when your muscles need sugar or something with a high Glycemic index to fill em back up. After looking in your gallery though i think you may have a little dysmorphia because you look good.

#1) the gallery pics are from a year ago....after slacking on my diet & exercise in the fall/winter I have a bit of stuff around the middle.....

#2) I used all the creamer & maybe I won't buy any more.... :verygood:

#3) You know, I may just have to get up in the am & walk 1st then eat afterwards.....I just can't seem to get moving first thing in the am....it sux to be me....

seriously though I have a hard time in the mornings getting going too and i take yohimbine or use yohimburn and redline from vpx sports. If you take yohimbine HCL it targets those areas you are speaking of. The trick is... has to be taken on an empty stomach. A meal cancels out the effects. To be honest sometimes to get myself going i over do the stimulants i think because I take yohimbine HCL in capsule form because it's only like 5 bucks a bottle and then i take redline which has even more in it and then put yohimburn on my face which really seems to be working on the face and the handles. One thing though if you try redline you will be jazzed for quite a while. At least it jazzes me almost as much as ephedrine did. Which is cool until after the workout and i am still jazzed up but not motivated anymore.
