This board is bullshit!!!!

Re: I didn't read this whole thread, so I may be repeating some ideas here.

#4 - I do think mods should take a greater role in removing wasteful threads as they start - while taking the time to contact the poster to explain why the thread was removed, the point of the board, and the role of the search function.
I tried that last night and for each one I took care of 2 more popped up becuse of me locking the thread in question. So how do we handle that?

Nothing you can do about that.. besides ban the posters, but I'd rather stay :-).

You guys should make a forum called "bad posts" and move everything that sucks there so people can keep it up out of sight from everyone else if they choose to do so..

7. I rarely go to other discussion boards, so I think people post on here because it's the only place with a decent amount of traffic.

btw, For those complaining about threads being in the wrong forum, this thread is not a discussion of anabolics either.

Just my 2 cents.

Point 1 - Yes, guys post here becuase there is a lor more traffic than other boards.

If people posted in the CORRECT board (like posted there ab roller questions elsehwree for example) then those other boards would start to get MORE traffic! Again, a good 25-40% of posts from this board could be movbed to the chat board, which would incvrease the chat board traffic a LOT.

Point 2- I agree. If however this thread helps to clean thinsg up in the future, it is worth it.

Frankly I see a lot of respected names agreeing with this thread's points. Most of the whiners I see are newbies who do not want to do the work to post in the right place, search and really TRY to learn before posting, and who want to hide their insecurities by acting like hard-asses.

I agree but lets look back to last night as an example of what a mod has to deal with and the backlash of a moved/locked or deleted post. Last night there was a little episode where someone called another member out. I saw it as childish and off topic and locked the thread. Next the person who was attacked started his own thread in rebuttal.

Ok, when someoen does shit like that, KICK HIM OFF THE BOARD. PERIOD.

Ban him, boot him., kick his ass OFF!

I agree with you, there are a lot of wittle boys out there who whine when they dont get there way ..... SO

KICK THEIR ASS OFF THE BOARD,

Ban their IP. Do an IP lookup, if they are using a dial-up then ban that whole range of IPs (XXX.XXX.XXX.000 - XXX.XXX.XXX.255). The chances of some other "good" member being boorted in the process are very very slim.

It's a free country however there alot of stupid questions and posts that are a waste of time , I say let's just sweep the board and smoke the riff raff every week. I don't mind newbies but we should at least limit the no. of posts they can have a month or something.

The sad irony of this thread is the fact that various "other" boards are bing mentioned which are a bit more on-topic, more civil, etc.

And becuase of theuir exposure in this thread, a bunch of newbie kids and idiots with no sesne of proper behaviour will sign up on thoise and ruin them as well.
