thinking of switching my routine

Currently i have been doing 1 muscle a day with a occasional calves and traps on some days, 6 days of the week. I hit the muscle with usually 4-6 exercises at 3xset each.
Now i want to do the same muscle atleast twice a week, but it will be hard to part my ways from this because im affraid of starting a new routine that might cause negative results. i was lookin at arnolds routine but i cant figure out if he hit 3-5 muscles a day with 120+sets(which i find hard to believe) because these sites just throw in a whole mash of info.
this is what most the sites look like

i was thinking something like this

Mon-back,chest
Tues-bicep, tricep, shoulders
wed-legs
thurs-back,chest
friday-bicep,tricep,shoulders
sat-legs
sunday-break

arold and other bbers lived at the gym..they would spend countless hours at the gym..compared to our 1-2hours.. of working out..

well shit, didnt they over train or something. I mean i do 15-20sets at the gym and ppl tell me thats way to much, but i like doin that much otherwise i would feel like my workout was garbage, but 120+sets just seems extremely high.

Never copy a pros routine.

As your size/strength increases, so does your bodies ability to heal.

The bigger you are, the more damage your body can sustain and the more damage your body can heal.

So Arnolds work outs would get him to the ideal level of fatigue to build muscle. Whereas for you, it would physically destroy you.

The only real volume routine I would consider at this point for anything other than the enjoyment of getting a pump would be Needsize's 5X5. I lke the lower volume higher intensity stuff. I was gonna start doing DC again but since I know I will have to train at home somedays I am gonna go back to what I was doing and that is the Intermediate 5X5. Great for building a foundation and fun to see the weights skyrocket.
