anyone have one?
You like it?
I don't need it so much right now, but things with my job will be changing soon and i think it might come in handy. I have a palm pilot right now that I use a lot, but of course, no net access with it.

I have a blackberry and I love it. I sync it up with Microsoft Outlook and it automatically updates all of my contacts and appointments. E-mail availability is wonderful asset with a demanding job.

I highly recommend the blackberry.

huh. interesting- thanks.
i should upgrade to outlook too- right now i just put everything in my palm.

So am I.
The Treo seems to have too many bells and whistles for me.

I just need email and Outlook hoopla.

Most of my clients and LOL my fav electrican has one so we're pretty well trained in typing a response instead of speaking it and I like that I have a record that I can print and file.

I can use the blackberry instead of my palm pilot, right? i mean, it has appointments, address book, alarms, etc, right?
plus email, which I need.

I just created a phone thread myself about the Palm Treo 600 vs. 650.

Is the Blackberry essentially a Palm Treo with less "bells and whistles"?

Does the Treo have all the capabilities of the Blackberry and then some?

It'll be like having a cell phone for the first time - once you have one you'll be addicted to the convenience of having one. The Treo does have a lot more bells and whistles, but it's also more expensive. If you only need to accomplish the things you listed above, you'll be fine with the BB.

There are a couple good smart-phones coming out just now, which means the Blackberry and the Treo should go down in price.

BlackBerry = Very dependable and easy to use. Surfing is a pain in the ass with it though and attachments are a NONO... so if attachments are important, think about that

blackberry don't work in Norway :-(

but my new nokia 6280 does all of the blackberry functions regardless
