I do see a certain amount of annoying issues coming up when people are locking my threads based on personal criteria instead of "moderating" the chat board.

i pay for platinum membership. I am by no means blessed with many luxuries in my life--I have just been a long time member of this site and wanted to support it.

but I dont agree with "buying" into being a mod-like member
 
for that kind of cash ... in here!!! I would just let peeps have it ..then they could run to some other chair and get it undone ...the chairs them selves could get into fights with each other

this could really get this place going ...its been slow lately

I don't think there were any objective criteria other than being Plat. Beyond that, it was just people George regarded as valuable members or whatever.

I heard that if 4 Chairmen red a Mod he gets demoted to non-Plat. Not sure if this is accurate tho.

I redded Perk 4 times this morning (50 hits, 10 hits spread) and he's still a mod... Check your sources, they are bullshitting you
