A police officer in Hazelwood will have to pay $18,000 dollars for getting into it with a firefighter while he was trying to help an accident victim.

His attorney says he's disappointed and that his client's conduct was not malicious in any way.

Police dash cam video shows the Hazelwood police officer arresting a fire captain while he's trying to move an injured driver.

It happened on Interstate 270 back in May of 2003.

Officer Todd Greeves wanted a fire truck moved to open up another lane of traffic.

The Robertson Fire Protection District Captain wanted the truck there to protect emergency workers.

No, I'm never late. 12+ years in the workforce and I've never been late once. I do however fight traffic every day because of the hours I work, I don't need retards making it any more difficult or time consuming than it already is.

Raise cop salaries to $150,000 and demand a degree.

But oh wait, your taxes will need to increase. Well, when it comes to paying more $ or putting up with lowly educated power trip ex-military cops - most people would just rather put up with the occassional bad cop.

Don't like it, demand higher standards, and the higher salaries that accompany higher standards.

Quality is always connected to Salary. Anyone who's left the house and worked at a job, understands this. You want someone with skills and education, you pay more.

We kinda work well together but police and firemen DO havea constant power struggle. Sometimes we even have cops trying to take people from the back of the ambulance(while they are unconscious and bleeding) because they are under arrest. In that case, pt care comes first. We tell them to pick to perp. up at the hospital after he's been seen by a doctor.
We mostly get along but there is an occasional power trip from time to time. It also doesn't help when they DO sleep with each others wives.

It didn't happen in Vegas, our cops love to block traffic. They'll close all lanes of a freeway for a single fatality - but not block the freeway on ramps. If they got to close the freeway - then close the on ramps so people don't get stuck for several hours - shit!!!
