Ten people died in a house fire in my town last week. They are going to have to put sheets up so that the mourners can walk to the funeral and not have to see these people who have warned that they are going to protest the FUNERAL because they believe the people burned because of God's wrath upon a sinful world. WTF? These people didn't do anything. 6 of them were little children. The only reason that I can think that these people feel this way about these poor victims is because the victims are black. EVIL!!!!

I don't care what someone's issue is with a deceased person, protesting a funeral is always wrong!

things are too complicated. it's because of so many people and so many beliefs. i always wondered; What if the only means of Death was murder? how would that play out? would the government decide, like they do everything else? the funny thing is, i don't take illegal drugs anymore....

Race has nothing to do with it, these pukes protest funerals no matter who the victim is.

Actually, this is the only funeral I've ever heard of in this town that ANYONE even discussed protesting. Whatever sins they think these poor people commited, I wonder why they can't see that the pain they are causing the mourners would be considered a pretty big sin too.

is it the God Hates Fags people?
no. The victims were just a black family in this small town. No one was even controversial in the family, that I know of. ??? Very odd that anyone would choose to be a jerk at their funeral.

you know, Indians weren't the only people coerced into Christianity....

HUH ???? How does that relate to this?
i'm reading a book about voodoo in the carribean and africa. that is the religion most practiced there. when they were brought to this country, they weren't allowed to worship the way they were used to....apparently, it is a violation of rights, because they allow military prisoners access to their relgious idols and scriptures......who knows, maybe they weren't practicing christians......

voodoo is not something I think really happens in this area.

it's not even called that anymore, my point was that blacks had been stripped of that right at one point. and things, especially down south, are still in that mode. if you don't think so, google white power. or k.o.r.p. religion is very self serving, it sounds like the work of a zealot...

Here it is. These people came all the way from Kansas to come to Kentucky because they say the deaths are because of a world that tolerated homosexuals. ???? EVIL PEOPLE! None of the victims were gay, and they were all members of the local baptist church. Even had they been gay, it would have been evil, but it seems not only evil but irrational being none of them were gay

Here is news of the funeral. I guess they chose not to write about having to put up sheets to ward off the protesters. That is the smartest thing to do to combat these nuts --refuse to report it in the papers and such. These human leaches thrive on the attention.

I am sure xannies have nothing to do with it either.

those are the God Hates Fags people.....they were gonna protest at the amish girl's funerals as well, but some media gave them an on-air interview in exchange for them not doing it.

Giving them press is the last thing they should do. People should just threaten to fucking stone them to death like in our town. lol. Then, just have the cops conveniently look the other way.

You're 100% correct in calling these people evil.
It's even more appalling that they go around protesting the funerals of soldiers who died fighting for a rightous cause.

fuck throwing stones.....in cases like this, it's noble to give one's life..............THERE WOULD BE GUN BATTLES!!!

and that's all I'm going to say about that.

"I was once asked why I don't participate in anti-war demonstrations. I said that I will never do that, but as soon as you have a pro-peace rally, I'll be there."

- Mother Teresa

Mother Teresa understood the important distinction between positivity and negativity and the change and shift in energy it causes. When people go on and on about the world around them saying 'I hate this, I don't like that, I don't want this, look at these evil people, look at what they’re doing' all they are in fact doing is lending energy to that cause. When people start saying 'I like this, I'm interested in what these great people are doing, I want this, I'd like to support the good these people are doing' then we'll start getting somewhere.

so if they came and protested one of your loved one's funerals....for whatever nebulous reason..........you wouldn't do gun battles??

I think his point is that the "anti-gay" people should focus on being pro-family or whatever. At least I think he is.

yes, let them just be uppity WASP types.

No, I'm quoting Mother Teresa. 'The Secret' is a polished Australian produced amalgamation of books, philosophy, experiences, documentaries, quotes etc on much the same topic. It's no secret, it's just common sense and the same message I've been trying to make people understand for years.

Do you sterotype blacks, jews, gays, women, handicaped people the way you do church goers? There are good and bad people of all walks of life. Reasonable rationale minds remember this.
I'm just sayin'.

Yeah, before everyone stereotypes all churchgoers as being terrible people, just know that it was the churchgoers in our town that paid for all 10 of these people's funerals. There were 300 churchgoers who attended and did all sorts of nice things. Most church people around here are very nice. Those crazy Kansas people are nuts. I hear this church in Kansas is nothing but one inbred family out there in some bummy little town. Evidently, they don't have more than 30 members in the whole church.
