I don't post much on the weekends but I felt compelled, first, I hope all of you are having a solid weekend, take it slow!

I saw The Village last night, a true travesty, very slow, no thrilling or scary tones whatsoever, the concept mirrors some "Catcher in the Rye" themes in regards to innocence and corruption but overall a thumbs down. A decent love story grows throughout the flick but that's not what most of the audience came to see, wait for the rental and then don't rent it. peace

Agree Havoc,it was a 2 hour suck-fest extraveganza.There were no monsters,it was the people themselves 'pretending' there were monsters to keep everyone corraled up in there little community,so no one would venture out past the woods based on fear.Total waste of money.

Movies like that fuckin piss me off, reminds me of "The 13th warrior" good flick but very misleading trailer.

Yeah I haven't seen it yet, but the twist is so fucking obvious.

See, he made a huge mistake in signs when he actually made it be aliens. If it wasn't actually aliens in that, it would have been cool. But when I found out it was indeed aliens I was like wtf. I expected a twist in that one.
