The victimless crime of pot use meets harmless illegal immigration

you, the libertarian, don't see the merit in wiping out the blackmarket by legalizing an activity that affects only the person using it?

I thought you were all for people being responsible for their own actions? Big difference between doing something to your own body vs. something like robbing a bank........I hope that analogy was in jest.

Let's see... pot is a drug that the NIH has directly tied to missing or abandoning education. As a matter of fact, pot was declared a dominant factor in the study and increased use tied-back directly to an increased chance of leaving school (so its even proportional in its use and its degree of damage).

We live in a society where everyone thinks its fair for someone else to pay for the downtrodden. Regardless of whether its free food, free healthcare, subsidized housing, educational grants, welfare checks and/or disability incomes, someone else is always supposed to pay.

So on one hand we have a drug that denies people one of the most critical factors to economic viability (education) and on the other hand we have a huge pool of downtrodden that someone else is supposed to pay for. You can have one or the other -- but both simply won't fly. Its true that I'm a libertarian, but I'm also 100% opposed to pot until it can be demonstrated that no American would ever, ever, ever have to pay for someone else who chose to sit around smoking pot instead of pursuing and education and trying to be successful in life.

They're necessary.

How else are college kids and hipppies supposed to get their weed? Walmart?

r

Well you know the fatter profit margins come from college kids and "enlightened" liberals. If drug dealers had to live off the margins they made from selling only to the poor, they probably wouldn't be able to keep all their boys in Mac-10's and Glocks.

Interesting concept. I bet if we legalized robbing banks too, we wouldn't have to chase-down bank robbers either.[/QU

 Keep reaching.

But you're willing to pay too imprison people?.....Poverty=uneducated, not pot use.

Pot -> Lost Education -> Fewer Opportunities -> Economic hardship

Not to mention the stoners who can't get off the couch because they "wake and bake" every day. And the people who use pot as a gateway drug.

Any form of government aid of any kind should require a drug test. I'm talking Medicaid, subsidized housing, unemployment insurance, welfare, food stamps, etc. etc.

I've been saying this shit for years. Its unfair to the working man when these pieces of trash can sit in their trailor houses, smoke dope, meth, crack..whatever and sit their and collect a check. Not to mention fuck all the time, have 25 kids that I get to pay for out of my hard earned money. GRRR!

BTW...My wife is a postal worker, and you'd be surprised how many of these low lifes will hang out by the mailbox waiting for their checks, and if they don't show they complain to her like she has any control. Those fucks are lucky I don't deliver their mail...it'd be late EVERY TIME

i lol tremendously at the anti-pot crusaders on this website
don't you realize you are posting on a website that promotes illegal drug use?
everytime a AAS legal issue comes up, the majority cry and bemoan the terrible drug laws in this country.
but somehow it's different with weed, fuct up
