The truth about suppression?

Ok so ive heard and read alot of mixed opinions about hpta suppression when on test and i would really to get it cleared up once and for all.
The problem is, ive read that suppression is absolute suppression, in that if you are injecting any test at all, you are fully supressed regardless of the dosage used and that your hpta will react the same way weather you inject 100mg or 500mg. Is this true? Is there any benefit of running lower doses in regards to hpta function?

The next thing is cycle length. First of all, are shorter,higher dosed test cycles less suppressive than longer,lower dosed cycles?
And also, it seems like everyone advises to do a 4 week pct regardless of cycle length. My question on this is: why would a 6 week cycle require the same pct that a 12 week one would? Doesnt make sense to me.

So if anyone has the answers to these questions, please give your input, because it seems like there are many different opinions in this. Thanks
 
the reason there are differing opinions is cause many guys do not cycle off and have no idea.. they think after 4 weeks off they are recovered, when the AAS esters are still in the body.

you should read my half life thread, that will help answer a lot of questions.

generally, short cycles and low dosages are easier to recover from. but you also need to run the proper ancillaries on cycle, kickstarting before pct, and then during pct to get the quickest recovery

a short 4 week cycle of a quick ester like dbol for example would only require an AI during cycle and a natty test booster for a month after and i have no doubt the person will recover fine. fail to control estrogen during cycle and you will have a rougher recovery. as high estrogen will work against you.

if you run a 12 week long ester cycle.. test for example.. then you will need to do a lot more than that. you will need hcgenerate/hcg/hmg... to help keep the nuts plump during and when you kickstart pct. highly recommended you use a SERM, as well as your normal supplements. you want to get your LH humming again and stretch things out enough where your body can take over from there with little hassle

So say you do a 6-8 week test prop only cycle at a moderate dose, say 400-500mg/week. Would you use hcg? Would you expect to be "shut down" by the end of the cycle or just mildly suppressed? And would you need a full 4 week pct or just some test boosters and maybe a milder pct to recover?

I know this has alot to do with the individual's body and genetics, but im just trying to get an idea of what different cycles would require pct-wise. Thx!
 
^^^ i would use hcg in that situation.

your LH would definately be close to zero on test prop for 8 weeks. I think the magic week is 5 weeks.. anything under 5 weeks and you can get away with a light PCT assuming you controled estrogen during. for longer than 5 weeks you get into the danger zone of suppression.

when your nuts start shrinking is when things are starting to get suppressed. thats the fail/safe line.
 
Read two sticky threads.. Taking steroids 101 and all natural post cycle therapy both by yours truly... Follow all instructions and problems solved. Have any trouble send me a pm.. Also I go for a 6 week pct followed by another 4 weeks post pct follow up on most longer cycles and nothing less then 6 weeks pct on shorter cycles.

While i have you guys' attention... About masteron-
Is there any benefit of running masteron prop for only 5-6 weeks with test prop, or should i just up the test dose instead of adding mast?

The goal is to build muscle while staying lean using short cycles that are easy to recover from.

Also, does masteron's effects remain after the cycle, or is it something that just gives you that hard look while your on, but goes away when the cycles over? In other words, is there any benefit in using it during "offseason" or not?

you need to run mast prop for 8 weeks as well... your body fat needs to be below 10% to run mast or your not going to get the full effect from it... whether or not you keep your look from masteron will depend on what you do in between cycles... i am at my best when i am bridging a sarms stack in between cycles...
 
Thx man. Yea i use sarms in between cycles too and their awesome. Im wondering, say i wanna do a 8 week cycle while cutting. Say maybe test prob at 125-150mg eod... Would it even be worth the money to run mast or would s4 with test give me that hard look and maintain muscle while cutting? Im looking for something to use with test while leaning up, but mast and var are expensive and im not sure if its worth it. What would you do if u were at about 14%bf trying to get below 10% without losing much muscle and keeping the gear price down?
