"The Testosterone Advantage"

I have.

It's a great book IMHO. I'm not sure that it would greatly benefit anyone here, but for someone who doesn't know all that much about good nutrition, especially when it comes to weight training, I would definately recommend it. The books focuses on maximizing testosterone release through both diet and training.

There are three different meal plans that you can follow- welterweight, cruiserweight, and heavyweight. Each have a different goal of weight loss, fat loss/muscle gain (I know this is theoretically impossible, but apparentely the laid out plan does a great job of accomplishing it according to those who have done it), and weight gain, respectively.

The book is full of great, up-to-date information. I enjoyed reading it and still refer back to it every now and then. Good stuff.

That's my $.02...

Thanks Aaron. It was recommended by a friend and I just picked up a copy today. I agree that I'm probably not likely to learn any new revelations from it, but I think it's a good idea to freshen up on this stuff. It's been a while since of done some serious reading on training, and especially diet. I think once you've been in the gym for a few years, you tend to fall into the trap of thinking you know everything. Thanks again for the review.

No problem, glad I could help.

And I know exactly what you mean... like I said, I still refer back to it every now and then.

it makes sense if you think about it cause "fat" actually raises testosterone in men therfore keeping you in an anabolic state thus improving your body compisition
they have a chapter dedicated to "fats" in the diet they explain the in's and out's of fat supplementation.(if i remeber correctly)

So fat raises testosterone to build muscle to help burn fat...

J/K man, I know what you mean......God I love this stuff. :D
