My dad thinks he's fine to light up when he goes to peoples' houses still. Not everyone, but family, since we all smoked at some point. I hate it. I haven't seen him for 5 years, but I know if he comes out to visit, he'll light up within 1 minute of walking into the house, I'll ask him to go outside, and he'll trail it through the house to get to the porch.

I used to smoke a pack and a half a day. I can't even smell unlit cigarettes anymore without felling grossed out. I have asthma too, so smart guy to have buckled under peer pressure.

i'm happy for you that you quit. you can almost always tell a smoker by the sound of their voice and the color of their skin.
