high BP is prob the most overlooked problem in body building!!! Good post. The problem with High BP is that most people dont know they have it and when they find out they have it and look at the symptoms they say "I thought that was how I was suposed to feel". I recomend everyone gets a cuff, not a normal one but the large version.

Agreed 100% People should get there blood pressure checked on a regular basis. My farther has had high bp for years and went through a quad bipass a couple years back, he was only in his late 40's!!! So take care of your hearts! after all, it's the lifeline of your body

I had a problem with it with no aas use at all. I started eating lots of omega fatty acids and taking garlic pills and everything leveled out. I think a lot of mine is induced from the high stress load at my job.

Garlic doesn't do anyhting. Omega-3's like EPA/DHA, GLA and L-Taurine are the best supplements for high BP.

MY BP this AM was 123/64.

fonz..

if you suffered from high BP, would you please outline the proper diet/exercise routine, and vitamins/meds you would take to lower it?>

i'm currently flirting with the 155/90 mark.

these beta blockers dont look tempting as they cause many nasty sides, so i'm currently taking 50mg aldactone per day.

any help appreciated.

Never sufferred from high BP....I do too much cardio.

Increase your cardio and start on L-Taurine and omega-3's.
