anybody else like it? it is supposedly based on LAPD at one time. It's on the FX channel.

Liked it alot.
Originally was supposed to be named RAMPART - after the same L.A. inner city cop teams. But after the scandal - alot of what Mackie's character does was done in real life (and then some) - F/X changed the name.
The promo has that great teaser "but you're the police" before that pencil-neck gets hit with the phone book.
Loved the dog-shit in the desk drawer prank. May have to try that one on a coworker some day....

Next Tuesday (3/19) F/X is running episode 1 @ 9 PM with episode 2 @ 10 pm
Big surprise for me was the commercials (or rather the lack thereof). The first half hour was 30 minutes straight. It was like a time warp or as if someone had switched over the PBS. There were 2 commercial breaks from 10:30 to 11.

forget that, how about the nudity? that was great.
the show is pushing it for a basic cable channel and that is the way it should be. i hate bitches who cry for less violence, nudity and cursing on tv. it's tv and i want to be entertained and i find those things entertaining. fuck you little church going religious bastards.
