Men get just as messed up from bad relationships, if not more, and they often don't have the same sort of support from their mates that women do.


Young men fall in love hard, and young women often don't take first relationships all that seriously.

Really sad, I have a few really great male mates that haven't had a proper relationship since 16, they are awesome, they just don't trust anymore.

I was one of those girls, I didn't date until 19/20 but I also didn't take it seriously until 28ish.

I'd have to earn the trust of every guy I've dated, if I wasn't needy and glued to them 24/7 they always thought the worst.

I'm still surprised at the poll on this board - maybe the it's the new members here that throw me off because the older members I don't recall being this sensitive.
