It sucked.
There are a couple things I just can't get over.
1) the APUs.. the mechanical things people get in and then fire...
they are lame. Why on earth would you design them with arms and legs. Its makes no sense at all. Turrets would be good and a better way to move besides legs. Why design them like humans when their function is totally different.
2) EMPs. Why would only the ship have one? They knew the machines were coming, you'd think they would have some setup at Zion... especially with all the planning and that whole council.
ahhh there is so much more...
Basically.. Matrix 1 was ok, but not good. The concept was a rip off of Terminator (Machines take over the wold) and Total Recall (life isn't reality, its just in your head).. the wachowski brothers just added using people for power... and keanu... lame.
ReLoaded was much better.. they took the story to a more complicated level. introduced the idea of different programs in the matrix... explained that zion was a recoccuring anomoly.. etc.. plus there was GREAT action scenes with real cars and what not.. it wasn't all just CGI. I was impressed.
This third one let me down.. no joke 2 people in my row fell asleep and I nearly did too. The action is almost 100% CGI. they don't really introduce any new characters.. and the old ones you see suck... they leave it open ended again just in case in 20 years the wachoswki bros want to pull a george lucas and cash in for another payday.
My advice.. stay away... wait for DVD.. at least you can fast forward through the slow parts.
