The double standard is that M.O.D. accessed the mod board through a mod's account to find a scammer and messed with polls and threads. He even told winny fan who had voted for him to be banned, so he was banned.

Then, because his motivation was deemed noble, he was unbanned.

Well, I'll try.

From what I understand, MOD was banned, but requested through an admin that he be re-instated.

Any banned member certainly has the right to petition an admin (or george) for reinstatement, although the admins / GS are certainly not obligated to respond.

I don't know if Boach or SMA took this course of action. If they have not, then saying "double standard" is not really valid. If theyhave, and the request was denide, then that is a decision that was made by the admins given the nature of the offenses.

I don't think there is a double standard. I think MOD pleaded his case, the admins or GS or whomever re-instated him looked at his contributions on teh Anabolic Board, and concluded he could stay.


As for my opinion, what SMA did was worthy of banning. Sending out a naked pic of yourself on the Internet demonstrates an egregious absence of a thought process. Depsite everyone saying she is a "nice person" or "good person" etc., that kind of behavior is totally devoid of common sense and a liability for a chat board.

It was misplaced trust as well as a lack of common sense. She obviously was not thinking about the possibility of this picture getting in the wrong hands. She was just being young, naive and having a little fun. As far as whether or not I have ever sent out nude pics, I trusted an ex-boyfriend who I was with for several years with some indecent photos and guess what happened after we broke up? It was nothing of this magnitude where people I didn't even know were looking at the photos. I was younger and had to learn the hard way myself. Don't you think she has already been punished for her bad judgement already?

There's no question in my mind that everyone should act with the utmost integrity.

The fact of the matter is, not everyone likes everyone else, and I'd venture to guess that all of us have bitched about one member or another via pm's, e-mail, chat, or what have you. I don't expect the mods to be any different, and if they want to call me any variety of names, it doesn't matter to me where they do it because it has zero impact on who I am and what I can do.

If everyone were completely honest with one another, the world would be a different place. Not necessarily better, but it sure would be different.
