This year I booked $28mm in loans and have $35mm in deposits. Year is going well so far. I want to do 50-50!

Why do your type use two lower-case m's to represent a million? Is there a system that utilizes such units? I see it every so often from certain people, so I'm guessing it's a standard of something.

NOT REAL LIFE....EF

its a stupid question for EF because nobody tells the truth when it comes to these types of questions. so why do we keep asking them? because we like to lie about our lives to feel better about ourselves and make fun of other people. ive been around here for a while and believe me, it is typical EF to bullshit bullshitters.

In banking.
m = thousands
mm = millions

1 - 1 dollar
100 - 1 hundred dollars
1m - 1 thousand dollars
1mm - 1 million dollars

Portfolio folder thingy? What do you mean? You can write off the cost of meeting with a financial advisor if that is what you are asking. Not sure of the cap amount though, check with a cpa.

Ah, okay. I think I've read some finance kids use the m/mm abbreviations as well. As if metric and U.S. systems weren't enough, now we have this.

Does anyone ever use kilo or mega suffixes in banking? And is this internationally accepted in banking, or does it differ country to country?
