First off no where did I state anything about superiority of Canada over the states, I think clean drinking water is an invaluable resource I don't see how you could refute that or thinks it's ridiculous but whatever. As for bottled water I'm also against it.

I would pick being Canadian any day over being American...... It's all abooot the low crime rate, very little racism, health care for everyone, low cost education for every citizen (hence pretty much everyone has a University degree), no cities like Camden NJ and oh yeah,we are way sexier ;-)

Zero - how can I have an argument against a point I'm not exactly seeing as connected to anything originally talked about? Someone made a joke about Canada being the hat of America (which isn't even an insult), and you bring up fresh water. I don't see a connection. It makes zero sense to me.

Costa Rica has the rain forrest, cloud Forrest, beaches, volcanos and despite being very small it represents 5% of the entire planet's biodiversity, It's also been declared one of the countries with the happiest people in the world, it has no army and universal healthcare.
Guess what? It's fucking horrible to live there, cool things, resources and statistics aren't exactly reality, bottom line we all love our countries and they all have things that make them awesome

I went to France.
Before going I had always heard about how they were snobby pricks. I didn't really believe it so much. Then I spent 2 days in Paris. It's true, they are jerks.

Quebec is delusional nowadays barely anyone speaks French in that province and Quebec pulls the most out of any province in equalization payments, and they want to separate lol. Incorrect, almost everyone here speaks French. It's rare now to go into a store or call any government body and find someone who can or will speak English. It's gotten worse since Hilter (I mean Marois) won the election last Sept.
The French here are mostly hillbillies and not well educated, so they feel if Quebec separates, they will all be rich.
It's nuts!
And you're right, the Natives would start a civil war here if they tried to take their land.
Now keep in mind, the majority here DO NOT want to separate and NO, they would never win another referendum.
The stress level living here now is on the rise. I am going to move to Ontario once my parents are no longer around. I despise living here

Richard Rohmer wrote a book way back in the 70's (can't remember the name) about Canada going to war with Quebec.
The book ended with the US invading to protect their access to resources.

That's the one.
I really enjoyed the book.
The best part was it used all the military units that are in fact in the Canadian military.
