kratos(main character's) dialog and voice acting is pretty terrible.lol @ him replying to everything with "I must destroy Zeuz" or "Zeus's death is all i care about".

but the rest of the voice acting and dialog isnt terrible. either way it doesn't make you not enjoy the game. really just nitpicking at that point

one question....the dude can lockout/push press a mountain that just tried to clap down on him, yet these pesky little skeletons get all up in his eye...?? I will admit the graphics look sweet, especially fighting chronos....but aside from that the gameplay looks boring. I watched the end fight against zeus and holy shit....I had to fast forward alot cause it was the same shit for like6 minutes straight. The entire fight against zeus takes like 30 minutes when you take into account all the cutscenes. Annoying. It looks like a straight button masher.

The gameplay is better than the cutscene though in some cases, because it almost feels like it's part of them, for example when you're on the titans. Nothing like that in any other game, even PC for all I know. That's one thing consoles have on PC besides convenience. Maybe it'd be different if it wasn't for piracy and PC developers not having a vast fortune to spend on a project. Valve is getting pretty big though, so hopefully Half Life 3 is worth the wait.

Oh, and God of War 3 is not a button masher, at least not in the mindless sense. You might as well say "All Half Life 3 is is pointing and clicking, how boring."

If you've played any of the games though you'd know they make a point of not taking themselves too seriously. I thought Hera, Zeus's wife was some of the best voice acting this year so far though, so it's not all bad.

Which is what quite a few reviewers have done. Lets see them nitpick GT5 when that's out. "Oh it's a great game but the lack of story was unfortunate...9/10" wouldn't surprise me.
