The million bodybuilder march

1,000,000 fitness enthusiasts, 1 voice with a common goal, to stop governmental intrusion on their person. Sounds like a great idea. Bikers get together each year to show love and support for their way of life. They have been able to take a lot of the negativity cast towards them and turn it around, we could to. Not to sound negative but it would be hard. Thinking back to the time when our wonderful powers that be started all this shit we were asked to write our congressmen and women. How many actually took time to do that. I live in the South and my office is in the same shopping center as our local state representative. I made an appointment to see him to discuss my concerns about the regulation of non-prescription dietary aids and pro-hormones. I also worked part time for our states ABB distributor. I delivered and worked 64 gyms in our state. Having this advantage I was able to take to this meeting a petition with over 300 names on it, all against regulation of things like Andro, ephedrine etc…
Long story short he looked at the list and said “good work” but you need to get these people to write letters to the representatives in their area. This didn’t happen and if it did it wasn’t on a large enough scale to make a difference. Is it to late, probably so what can we do hoard what products are left and watch them go out of date on our shelves? Become kitchen chemists? Rely on sources that send fake shit and take the risk of a lifetime both physically and financially? Or could we really organize such an event as 1,000,000 guys marching to Washington. If so then we must look at another important piece of the puzzle TIMING pre-election would have been good. Now that “W” has little to lose would it really make a difference?

exactly what i was thinking. its like walking into a cop station with a needle still hanging out of your ass.

the cause is good, but it wont change anything. our lifestyle, on the most part, involves being associated with criminal activity, ie buying gear.

There's too much of a stigma attached to steroids (thanks to the media). The media would shit all over us. As soon as they show the crowd marching, they'd cut to the story of that kid that killed himself because his parents wouldn't allow him to use steroids anymore. It would be a good cause, no doubt, it would just be more difficult than you think.

In any case, if you get Barry Bonds to march, I'm down
