To be completely truthful, I'd say this is the best team they've had in a long time but if Belfour's back acts up, they're dead.

In what way? From the proposed 'rule changes'? They won't accomplish shit. They need to start calling the friggin rule book but we all know that's never going to happen. I can't stand it every time I see a talented player being held back by some goon with his stick cause he can't skate as fast.

They should go to 4 on 4 hockey since they're too cheap to enlarge the rinks. It's the only way to open things up a little....

It was physical and it flowed, you would think they would open thier eyes and would make all the rinks that size.

Look at the numbers they're throwing around in this collective bargaining shit, chickenfeed compared to the NBA and NFL. Plus they haven't been able to get a major TV deal in the U.S. even though they've been trying since the 60's. Morons.

Dawg, the Flyers were looking great for awhile there. But without Roenick and Primeau healthy, they aren't going to make a deep run into the playoffs. That, and they seem to be the Ottawa Senators' bitch more often than not.

the flyers have worst goaltending then the wings, no chance for the flyers. There are only 3 teams that have ANY shot of coming out of the east - lightning, sens, and devils (and thats only if broduer stands on his head) from the west it will either be san jose which has by far the best goaltending in the west or the canucks who have the best player in the league in naslund along with a very solid supporting cast with the likes of morrison, their only weakness is cloutier

Even though I'm far from a Leaf fan, gotta disagree with that. Assuming Belfour's back doesn't go out again, the Leafs have as good a chance as any of the above teams to come out of the East. If Belfour goes down they're dead.

And we don't have a goalie? Our back-up goalie has a better record than our 2 starters. Manny Legace is a great goalie....plus Joseph should be back Monay against Tampa Bay...that should be a fun game.

Oh.....Hatcher will be back too.
