They now have Burress, Holmes, Keller, and Cotchery to throw to and LT out of the backfield IF he is healthy. Those are a lot of weapons to throw the ball. The Jets need to sign Cromartie and they should dominate the passing game on both sides of the ball.

well, the tricky thing about our team last year was that we were pretty stacked and because of the 1 year contracts and low risk/high reward deals...it was going to be a huge challenge to keep everybody. If we marginally improved or at least moved laterally, it was going to be a successful offseason.

fortunately, we pretty much locked up our core long term. D'brick, mangold, revis, sanchez, holmes, and probably david harris soon too. i love braylon and it would have been nice to keep him but i heard he wanted close to #1 WR money and that would have left us with major holes / no CB money.

plax is a big target, and a much cheaper alternative at least for the short term. i think next year we'll look for a #2 receiver in the draft.

If we resign cromartie(Schefter says we're closing in on the the deal) , we're a better team than last year because of our rookies we drafted to shore up the d line. not to mention the next step in sanchez's development

I wouldn't assume rooks will be an automatic help

Sanchez has to improve, he was at the very bottom of the league in most statistical category among NFL starters

Jets to Todd Heap
edited He signs with Arizona

They dont Need him, but he is damn good though!
The Jets D line got little pressure on opposing QB's last year, this needs to change for them. We'll see, either way they will be good.

3rd year Sanchez should definitely be more consistent. Not sure if Burress is an upgrade over Braylon Edwards. I think they are probably the same.

Ya, they are comparable. I think Braylon has more of that big play runaway ability, but Plax is better IMO opinion because he will move the chains more. The Jets receivers are loaded and they will create massive mismatchs. I think they should use LT as minimal as possible, maybe even just as a 3rd down back. They need another RB in case he gets hurt. They have one solid back though, so it is not like they are starting the season with nothing. They need to set up the pass with the run if they really want to dominate people.

time will tell.burress in his prime was deff better then braylon..he hasnt played in a few years, lets see what he got still

too bad gholston never panned out...when they picked him, i'd have bet all my karmazz that he would have been a beast by last year.

santonio, plax, cotchery, keller

that's loaded.

Holmes is sick, not a top 5 wr though
Keller has no help (shottys offense isn't a 2 TE Off) but is a very good TE
Crotch is a good JAG IMO
Plax hasn't played a snap in 2 1/3rd years so nobody knows what we're getting. He CAN be a nice big target for Sanchez in the red zone if he's on.

not loaded
